Image is nice, but two things need to be taken care of:

  1. We need to document the games each panel depicts (as with other Videogame Setting tropes)
  2. I can't identify the food in panel number five. Can we replace it with something more intuitive?

Sounds more like an "image source needed" issue than anything, maybe you should have posted it there. The stuff in panel 5 is a type of candy, a liquorice stix. If it bugs you we can replace it with something more clear; I was tinking of Prehistorik 2, maybe I can find a screen of that.

Yup, here it is.

Or better yet: Zool.

Top left is Parodius, says Hylarn from the source thread; the middle left is definitely Mario Kart, but I can't tell which one... Also, bump. Does anyone know any of those other pics?

The upper-right is apparently from Cocoron. Middle left is definitely Mario Kart Super Circuit.

There was already a thread for this! It's good that you're drawing further attention to it, though, but I had as much information I could get in the other one.

Oh, wait, you mentioned "Hylarn in the other thread". Please excuse the alarm.

Never mind, that was a different other thread. Here.

So based on that, Clockwise from top-left the sources are: Parodius, Cocoron, unknown, unknown, Roller Coaster Tycoon, and Mario Kart Super Circuit.

If you do have an issue with the Roller Coaster Tycoon section of the image, there are quite a few other examples it could be replaced with, although I'm most partial to Candy Chateau from Rayman.

I think replacing Rollercoaster Tycoon (is that the one?) is a good idea, because it's the least obvious out of the six.

On a separate note, examples should not reference whether or not they're the current page image.

[up]I agree with that last point; neither should they reference being the Trope Namer.

Several options from Rayman: [1] [2] [3] [4] and there's also a wiki page full of screenshots, some of which are already represented.

The yellow-orange liquid in the fourth one is apparently lemonade. I never knew that; I'd assumed it was some other yellow-orange sweet liquid, possibly syrup of some sort.

How about replacing the two unknown pics and RC Tycoon with Prehistorik 2, Zool and Rayman then? We might have to wait for a while for the other two to be identified.

Rayman #3 is good — he's even riding a skillet. BTW, we should avoid shots if they require extensive resizing to fit.

[up]Looks quite good.

I've took a furter step and replaced the two unknown with Zool An Prehistork 2. So now clockwise from top-left the sources are: Parodius, Cocoron, Zool, Prehistorik 2, Rayman, and Mario Kart Super Circuit. If everyone's ok we can put it up, but... Since we're discussing it anyway, what's that stuff in the Mario Kart pic suppersed to be?

Mountains of cheese. Maybe replace Mario Kart with Chocobo Racing?

The upper part of the screen is too busy to get a decent screen. Let me se if I can find something from the Trope Namer...

There we go, Earthworm Jim on the middle left panel.

Swiss Moment here: The panels are arranged so that they alternate between sweet (Rayman, Zool, Parodius) and not-sweet (Cocoron, Earthworm Jim, Prehistorik 2).

We got enough consensus to put it up?

If the last pic is good with everyone, we can upload it, piece together the caption, and be done.

Image replaced. I apologize if I've jumped the gun here, but I felt like I should be responsible for this one.
