I think the OP's problem, understated as it was, is that there is a lot of characteristics to The Watcher that set it apart from someone simply observing things.

I agree that if I didn't know who Uatu was, I'd assume this was just an alien hanging out with some bros or dudes or homies or whatever.

I've hunted good Watcher pictures for other tropes, and one problem with Uatu is that, by definition, he's not a very dynamic guy, and you can't really get across what he's all about with just an image. I like Artemis Strong's image.

I also love this one, but while hilarious, I doubt it gives enough context for our use here.

Actually, yours might actually be better, since the one I suggested is basically Just A Face And Some Dialogue.
