If you had to choose between just those two, which would be the better cartoon?

For me, Baby Looney Tunes. I never could get into Loonatics, plus, Baby Looney Tunes wasn't that bad as they say it is...

Actually, I'd choose Loonatics. Baby Looney Tunes was simply lethargic. With Loonatics, at least you can snark at it.

You've caused me to imagine a "Baby Loonatics"

Baby Looney Tunes - I never saw enough Loonatics Unleashed to make a real judgement.

Loonatics Unleashed, if only because it actually had two characters worth liking and watching (as opposed to nil to the other show). Yes the show was mediocre with some decent episodes, but Tech and Rev are very well-developed and are actually really likeable among the cast.

Tech is Wile E. Coyote and Rev is..... the Road Runner?

[up] I'm serious. Take a look: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DLRxFKIvZ0M

That... ruins the whole show.

Baby Looney Tunes becuase in Loonatics only Ace and Rev were likable,I mean Tech E. was a bastardization of Wile E.,the Tas character was undeveloped and nothing like the original Taz,and Lexi was kind of a Mary Sue. The fight scenes were great, but the plot was cliche and I can't remember a single good episode past the "Demented Toy episode" and even Seasonal Rot The Simpsons handled that better.

Baby Looney Tunes mostly kept all the characters like the originals, and Taz was quite adorable. And there were some decent episodes, maybe it was lethargic mostly. But I'd rather a lethargic episode, than an unwatchable, unfollowable episode.

I at least enjoyed Loonatics. Baby Looney Toons made me ill.

...why are people expecting similar characterization especially when Loonatics Unleashed is even way more far-off from The Looney Tunes Show? Seriously, what the fuck?

And it's not the first time they "humanized" a Looney Tunes character. Foghorn Leghorn was another one, although he was an extra.

Seriously, the only babies version done right is Muppet Babies, everything else felt stupid to do baby-related jokes.

that's easy Loonatics mostly because five-man band is my favorite troop and I thought some of them had good powers.

[up]Now remember that they're supposed to be descendants of the originals. Somehow, the idea that Pepe Le Pew actually succeeded seems more disturbing than a human-skunk hybrid.

I'd say Baby Looney Tunes was slightly less offensive from a Looney Tunes fan standpoint (even though Tiny Toons already did the AS KIDS thing much, much better), but Loonatics was a slightly better show overall. But that's like saying shit is slightly better than diarrhea.

Like I said, Loonatics would've been much better if it was just a show about Rev and Tech. The others are pretty much just occasionally interesting.

I don't think either show was horrible but I'd go with Loonatics. I really liked that show.

Baby Looney Toons...yeah, its stupid and dumb and babyish but it's a show I saw and a very, very, VERY guilty pleasure for me.

[up][up][up]I heard Duck was viewed as a Designated Monkey at times.

I haven't seen a lot of either, though I admit looking at Loonatics, it might have been taken better if it was it's own show not linked to the Looney Tunes series anyway. Baby Looney Tunes might have fared better too, though it did still seem kinda dull either way. Loonatics wasn't brilliant, but it maybe could have been a decent for a standard Saturday Morning type action show.

Baby Looney Tunes could have been done well though:

To be honest, I never really did see the problem with Loonatics. I thought it was fine when it was around. tongue
