Extremists in Congress fired another shot in the war on women this week.
While the country waits for a jobs plan, our elected officials decided something else was more important: Passinglegislation that could let women die.
That's right. By a vote of 251 to 172, this right-wing Congress passed the ironically titled “Protect Life Act,”H.R. 358, which lets hospitals receiving federal funding turn a woman away rather than perform an abortion that couldsave her life.
