Large and in Charge: Does not show "in charge" (Almost JAFAAC): Large And In Charge

Oh boy, first thread creation here, I hope I'm doing this right.

Just looking at this one, there's nothing to suggest that Bowser is actually "in charge" of the army he's in. To someone who isn't familiar with his roles in the games, there's nothing to distinguish him from an ordinary mega-mook.

A couple of suggestions for replacing:

One where bowser is more obviously giving orders to his smaller minions. [1]◊

Or a different image altogether where its easy to see the character in question is both "large" (i.e. bigger than the similar creatures around it) and "in charge" (either by giving orders or visible deference from the other characters).

eg. shrunk version of this one for an example of a large Big Good.[2]◊

Or something like King Dedede on his throne (caption: It's good to be king) [3]◊

Tried finding a good orc warboss screenshot but didn't have any luck, maybe someone else can find a better picture. I'm sure there's other better ones out there.

Fixed the link; the little button that lets you do that is next to the "stale discussions" link. That said, of the suggestions, I feel that both the Bowser and King Dedede suggestiosn are better than the current, but that the My Little Pony one is worse(the others are all kneeling, obscuring their relative size).

Thanks for that. I take it the original problem was that I didn't have every word in "Large And In Charge" capitalised? (I blame the trope page for that )

No, the problem was the spaces.

I like #1 best of those. It took some digging, but I found an Ork pic that might work.

That just looks like some random mecha. There's nothing saying in charge.

I like the Celestia one. It clearly shows a considerable size difference despite being of the same species, and has the Large and in Charge character at the centre.

EDITED IN: Though if we go with it, we should probably seek a smaller screenshot; I tried resizing by shrinking the browser and taking a screenshot of the screenshot and it just ended up looking pixelated.

I resized it in Gimp just to check and the other ponies aren't very visible at that level.

I think that #1 wiould do quite nicely.

As for caption, how about "Sic 'im boys!". "Princess - Fetch" works too, but for a second i thought he was telling the princess to do the fetching :P

Yeah, I was thinking that as I was posting it.

Bump - Can we close this thread yet? The current caption does its job and there are no better alternatives being proposed.
