I have a feeling the Author set Cruella up to kill her own mother by accident.

Well looks like I was wrong. Cruella was just Enfant Terrible.

Yeah.

I kept thinking Cruella seemed out of place among the group. Now I know why. Ironically enough, she was both the most evil of the three, but also the least dangerous, just like I always said, but for completely different reasons than I thought.

Holy Hell, Cruela's a sociopath?!

That's actually kinda awesome. Love her maniacally sowing her puppy coat together. And even the magic ink hair was kind of neat...

Still haven't seen the promo though.

They just need to reunite her with her sleeping mom.

Also I have to give props to Regina to turning her situation around as best she could. And I have a feeling the heart was given willingly rather than her taking it by force.

I don't know. I'm pretty sure Mom plans on ending the Charmings once this is done.

I honestly can't think of a reason to stop her.

How are they going to bring Emma back from the dark side though?

These last few episodes are going to bring some high grade drama to the mix. Though I will miss the really funny stuff they got out of Cruella. Her playing Angry Birds was priceless, as was her putting dragon!Mal to sleep

Question though, why did Rumpel need Ursula for in the first place? Cruella was literally a Plot Device to get Emma where he wanted her and I guess Maleficent's the muscle as well as the mama of the kid who's holding Emma's evil. Not sure what the long term plan for Ursula was.

Probably something like "If the savior goes dark you and your daughter will die". Or something along those lines. Considering she just murdered Cruella this episode after all the best chance for Maleficents happy ending is to leave with her daughter and let her grudges go.

Well Cruella likely doesn't trust Rumple enough, and she always hangs out with someone she knows she can usually trust and kill for her.

I'd also like to point out that Cruella being a homicidal sociopath and an Enfant Terrible will probably result in a thousand angry fans on Tumblr because Sea Devils is longer a feasible ship. Unless they're like the Thelma and Louise of serial killer couples in someone's fanfic...

Also this nicely explains why they even know who the Author is in the first place when they took Belle captive in the past. Leaving out her own dirty little secret of course.

I was really liking this episode. At first I was sad that Cruella was eventually going to turn evil, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that she already WAS evil.

I also loved her hair before AND after.

And ha, angry birds.

Shame she's dead now. I really wish that main characters didn't have to die.

Surely an author should be able to bring them back...

And Ginnifer has been looking so sleep-deprived this season. I thought maybe it was because she was overworked, but maybe it's all for the sake of her dark look. XD

Funny thing is, I totally didn't notice how she looked until just before she killed Cruella.

Well I'll be glad to see Lily again. She sure didn't SEEM evil when she met Emma. Except for the petty theft and the squatting.

She probably did even more at home though. Like roast frogs with her secret fire breath.

Who says she's evil.

She's just rightfully pissed at what The Charmings did to her.

Not only did they thrust Emma's darkness into her, but they trapped her away from her family.

I'd say they deserved to die too. I'm just wondering how this will all end.

The Charmings just believed that since Maleficent was evil there was no way her child wouldn't be. They didn't know she would lose her.

Is okay to have an evil child as long as you you can still HAVE it apparently. :p

We need Maleficent's full backstory. I hope that she was always evil like Cruella.

Speaking of whom, we still don't know how she and Isaac got to the Enchanted forest. I hope her actress sticks around for the past segments at least.

I think being punished is a good idea. More than having the kid taken from them for years and not remembering their past.

While it was their actions, it was still the author who influenced it and played his part in making it happen, including forcing the wizard to go through with such a terrible thing. So he is just as responsible.

Do they need to die? No, but I do think being punished is fine.

It was pretty clear she wasn't evil when she prioritized her childs future and wnated the Charmings to work with her.

The only one who is unambiguously evil is Cruella.

He did already say that "the story" ends with Emma turning dark. But is that the end of the series? Or just the season. Or will she get better right before the season finale.

Hey maybe Emma will kill her new brother. That's adequate punishment right? ;p

Nah I think her brother will probably end up being taken and raised by someone else. Probably as karmic punishment to the Charmings.

The series should still end happily though. Isaac doesn't really have a reason to hate the Charmings.

It's still really his fault though. He said it makes for a better story, though I forget exactly what...

Did he write that Emma had the potential for darkness, that she could be cured of it by transferring it to someone else, that Snow and David would make the choice to steal the egg, or that Lily would wind up in the world without magic?

Or all of the above.

The Wizard explained is that children have the potential for both good or evil.

Except Sociopaths like Cruella, whose happiness is tied to killing people ever since she was a child.

I like to think that Cruella saw evil as an art form. An aesthetic of delighting in other things' pain. :p

Which is fitting since she was so into fur fashion. Like wearing fur symbolized domination over what she killed.

I really liked Sociopath Cruella, I mean, her whole tale involves taking other people's dogs and turning them into fur to wear, that's really quite a hint.

I actually think Emma getting in the dark side for this is bullshit. She didn't know Cruella was harmless, she was just a mom protecting her child ffs.

Edit: The author says he didn't know about the whole savior turning dark stuff. It's possible all he intended was to make the story darker and edgier having the heroic parents sacrifice another child for their own child's sake.

Clever author. Sort of. I mean, you would think that'd be the way to neutralize any enemy anyway, but using it against her was more fitting than using it on anyone else.

ETA: On the other hand, why hasn't the Author written into existence that he can't be harmed either? I mean, if Nathan Brazil can escape death, why can't he escape it too?

I don't think it occurred to him. I think he thought he could get away with his shit as the Author. He knows NOW that that's not the case, but has no ink to make himself the Teflon Man so to speak.

I've seen there's another Princess Tutu fan in the WM Gs for the show. They came up the brilliant headcannon that Isaac is Drosselmeyer from the anime XD.

Perfect fit too.
