Make your hearth shine through the darkest night; let it transform hate into kindness, evil into justice, and loneliness into love.Anyone have the story links? There was one that I was hoping to read. (BTW, I seem to have lost the link to my own story.)

Nous restons ici.I guess I might as well post mine, then. (In retrospect, it's not exactly my greatest work, but I guess it was good enough.)

Make your hearth shine through the darkest night; let it transform hate into kindness, evil into justice, and loneliness into love. So, the results seem pretty clear overall, but we still haven't heard from the other two judges...
Hey guys I don't want to be that guy but we still need at least one judge to declare winner.
In case they aren't available until next monday I will judge, as I am responsable due to he fact that I am a susbtitute Judge
Don't worrry conetstants even if this is the slowest contest ever we won't let you dowm
Make your hearth shine through the darkest night; let it transform hate into kindness, evil into justice, and loneliness into love.I PMed the judges, asking them to either post scores, or post in the thread that they won't post scores.
(I expect the latter, to be honest—I think most of us have given up on the contest at this point—but I'd be touched if it was the former.)

That's Feo . . . He's a disgusting, mysoginistic, paedophilic asshat who moonlights as a shitty writer—Something AwfulUnfortunately, I won't be posting scores within the next week or so, which probably means I won't get to it. I apologize for having committed to judge without being able to follow through; I feel it deserves more than a spur-of-the-moment single reading, and I've got enough else going on that I can't get enough time to read them to the depths required until a week or so from now. At which point either I'll have forgotten or everyone else will. Apologies.
Shinigan (Naruto fanfic)Unfortunately, I'm in a similar boat. Between work and other real life obligations, this place tends to be the first place that gets cut for time (and the last place added back in once time frees up). I hate feeling like a flake, but if you have a backup judge, then I guess it's not too bad.
Congrats to whomever ends up winning.
No one believes me when I say angels can turn their panties into guns.Such a shame we can declare winner with that we got or if you wait for me a bit I will act as a substitute judge.
I know this was a disaster but a promise is a promise

Make your hearth shine through the darkest night; let it transform hate into kindness, evil into justice, and loneliness into love.Didn't you submit one of the entries?
I'd rather just declare the winner now.
yeah! I think it will be better if we declare winner now. I submitted the entries after all and it wouldn't be impartial
Make your hearth shine through the darkest night; let it transform hate into kindness, evil into justice, and loneliness into love.^ Wait, did you write #4? (I thought Misuki wrote #1 . . .)
(BTW, I'll be writing up a summary of the contest on the page for the TV Tropes Writing Contests in a while.)

Make your hearth shine through the darkest night; let it transform hate into kindness, evil into justice, and loneliness into love.^ So if I was 2, and Night was 3, then does that mean Freezair was 1 and Misuki was 4? (I need to determine whose was whose for the writeup.)

Make your hearth shine through the darkest night; let it transform hate into kindness, evil into justice, and loneliness into love.^ You just switched the numbers up. In the critiques, A Kind of Duty was #2, Judgment Day's Not Coming was #3, and What We're Fighting For was #4.
Anyways, I'll start writing now.
That's Feo . . . He's a disgusting, mysoginistic, paedophilic asshat who moonlights as a shitty writer—Something Awfulsorry my mistake :/
Make your hearth shine through the darkest night; let it transform hate into kindness, evil into justice, and loneliness into love.Congrats to Feotakahari and Frezair for the first and second places. And take you all for participating and helping me to organize this contest.
This contest is officialy over. I hope the next one is more succesful
Make your hearth shine through the darkest night; let it transform hate into kindness, evil into justice, and loneliness into love....I still got second place? Really? *headscratch* Huh. Maybe I should re-check the numbers, since I thought I was heading for bronze. I do agree with the criticisms that my story wasn't accessible enough outside the fandom. I blame myself for picking a fandom with way too much mythos and backstory behind it and trying to condense that all in around 1,000 words.
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaTwo of the other entries just weren't that good - the Final Fantasy Tactics one was extremely weak, and Night's started out well but broke down pretty fast. So you had the advantage of relatively little competition.
I'm going to post a detailed critique of all four stories now that things are done, but it might take a few days.
I know the independency category was very confusing. But it was the only way to give the freedom of choosing any work to make fanfiction from.
Make your hearth shine through the darkest night; let it transform hate into kindness, evil into justice, and loneliness into love.
I should have my scores up tomorrow, I'm just having a hard time putting my thoughts into words right now.
