The Seattle/San Francisco game has been suspended partway through due to weather. Apparently the New Orleans/Tampa Bay game was too. Not something that happens every day.

In a completely out of nowhere, shocking move: The Browns have traded the #3 pick of the 2012 NFL Draft, Running Back Trent Richardson, to the Indianapolis Colts for a 1st round pick next year. The Browns plan to pick up Willis Mc Gahee to replace him. Link to NFL.com Story The Colts now have 2 of the top 3 NFL players in the 2012 NFL Draft (if that wasn't already obvious).

I'm sorry Browns but WHAT THE FUCK???

Sure Richardson has an injury history

Sure Richardson has a 3.6 YPC

but you don't trade away young talent, and one of the few offensive talents you have.

If the Browns are going full fire-sale mode I guess the Jags have competition for the #1 pick this year.

Yeah, I have no clue what the Browns are doing (although that organization rarely does anything positive anymore). Apparently he "doesn't fit their offense." If I had to guess, that means that he has talent, which is a bit out of place in their offense.

Interesting post on reddit is guessing that the Browns have just given up this year and are going all in with trying to get a franchise QB next, and argued that while Richardson is good, he's not amazing enough to be considered irreplaceable considering that running backs are a pretty common.

Guess the Browns thought Jim Brown was right?

The 2-0 Chiefs, impressive.

And the 1-1 Niners should've kept Alex Smith

Good news: The Eagles are on tonight, where we welcome Reid back to Philly and retire Donovan Mc Nabb's number. He got really outspoken during the last few years here, but he's the single greatest QB this team has had outside Jaworksi and Cunningham and responsible for a lot of the successes during the early years.

Not so good news: I have to wait a week and a half to see my team play again.

Hey, Midgetsnowman, you're not dreaming. Your Chiefs are now (just about) 3-0. You've already just about won more games than all of last season.

Classic checkdown Alex. Though if it looks stupid and it works, it's not stupid.

I dont get it. This is challenging all my notions of being a KC sports fan.

we're actually winning at shit.

we have a defense actually capable of pressuring Q Bs into handing us games.

what the hell is going on.

You guys are my AFC team because Smith is a class act and because of that conditional second. Don't fuck this up.

I'm relatively confident we'll fuck up sooner or later.

But at least its nice after last year to see some semblance of talent and or chance that we might eventually gel into a team thats an actual threat.

Especially because so far, it seems like if our defense keeps this up, that the offense only has to not fuck up majorly while the defense tears you apart. If Smith and the rest of the offense can eliminate their errors and get a bit more production..then we're on the road to actually being something scary.

I mean, seriously. so far our major factor in winning is our Defense is friggin MEAN

That was the 2011 Niners. Got us all the way to the NFC championship once Harbaugh told Smith to just not fuck up and let the defense and David Akers do the heavy lifting.

Wow, if this game continues the way it's going we might be able to say that Aaron Rodgers cost the Packers a win. That's something you get to say almost never.

[up] Even if you lose, take comfort in the fact that you scored more points this week then the New York Giants, who scored a whopping 0 pts this week. That's right, 0.

Somehow I don't believe that after 3 weeks, the Eagles have more wins than the Giants and Redskins and are 1 game out of the division lead. I don't understand, I thought the Eagles were supposed to suck in 4th place this year.
