Er...what?
Yeah, that's pretty crappy.
That seems to show the trope pretty well. It's a monkey falling into clothes on a clothes line. That's the trope.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickThere's a monkey?
OHH. Now I see it.
... Yeah, maybe if there's something better. That one isn't too good.
I'm pretty sure the concept of Law having limits was a translation error. -WanderlustwarriorI didn't see the monkey until shima mentioned it. If we can find a version where the colors aren't so fucked up, then we should switch them out.
I didn't see the monkey either. I had no idea what I was looking at until Shima said what it was.
Reaction Image RepositoryAgree that we need a better one. Wait, isn't that The Thief And The Cobbler? Also, we should probably put it as a series.
Fight smart, not fair.I just couldn't parse that. There's a face of — something. And a colorful tent? I see bloomers and a shop awning pattern — not a tent? Confusing. I get it now I've had it explained to me, but yep, support a pull.

Support pull. Still think a series of images would be better than a single one.
Fight smart, not fair.Yeah... I can't tell what it is. I'm told that it's a monkey, but I still can't see it unless I stare and squint at where I think the head is for a while, knowing what to expect. Especially since it doens't look like it has a monkey's feet. I immediately thought of something like a person in heavy underwear being sucked out a window or something.
On top of that, the colors are kinda washed out.
I have a message from another time...It's not a monkey, he just has big ears.
Fight smart, not fair. How's this? From the same example, but with very different frame choices.
Also, why'd you want to put The Thief And The Cobbler as a series? It's a film, just with some heavy re-edits in existence. Wait, you mean as a series of images?

That's a good start, much more clear than the current one.
Better, definitely.
I have a message from another time...I parsed it as one image.
I really don't like using multiple frames on this one. We should be able to get it in one.
Rhymes with "Protracted."The multiple images show before the trope and after the trope but not the trope itself.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickYeah, I think it works best as multiple frames. But a slight space between the images so it's clearer that it's a series of images.
Fight smart, not fair. The trope is the bit that occurs between those two panels. Not what's in either of those frames. Between the two of them you have done a wonderful job of completely avoiding actually showing the trope.

Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickClock is set...should we just cut the pic and move on?
I had to look at the picture for about two minutes to figure out what it was. I knew what it was supposed to be but had a hard time with the details. If it is OK with other people I'll be OK with it too, just asking.
