Not exactly.
Uh, spoilers I guess. Not that a warning does much good at this point. Kinda expected everyone in here to have read the other manga in the thread title.
Anyway, part of Mirai Nikki's ending involved butterflying a new timeline that leads to almost all the cast being more alive and less fucked in the head than they were originally. (The serial killer is still a serial killer, though. He just gets caught.) It's kind of deus ex machina-y, but then again the manga premise involves becoming deus.
Maybe Eiji should have stopped to consider the implications though. Sure, maybe he wanted this Sena right here and now healed, but that doesn't mean other worlds were bad.
At least, I thought killing all other possibilities and removing anyone else's chance to get back what they lost was a bit of a crime.
"Nullius addictus iurare in verba magistri, quo me cumque rapit tempestas, deferor hospes."
I was expecting it to be Daisy manipulating everyone to open the gates, bit nope, it was just a giant glowy hand of God.
