Maybe he doesn't want to agree to the frankly insane license agreement.

And that trading games in deal is only 20%. If it were 50%, hell 40%, it'd be superb and everyone would buy more shit, but it isn't.

PSN's new social networking features will allow your password and private financial info to be shared not only with your friends, but completely strangers. LOLOLOLOL

I'd never use that trading-in stuff, I'm a packrat. EDIT: yeah esp cuz it's not such a good deal, when you get such a lousy return on it...

Some of this sounds intriguing.

Some of it... doesn't.

Estimated shipping time: 2-4 weeks.

I have a theory the trading in is designed to appeal to those with buyer's remorse. Steam has a problem where if you regret buying something, it's there in your Library forever, teasing you for wasting your money...people get turned off using Steam altogether in some cases. I'd say some people will use it just to get rid of them without getting anything back. It's not really for those who finished a game they enjoyed and want to sell it off...then again they're not as bothersome on PSN, if you delete them you won't see them unless you check a certain menu.

People like me, but I know others. Why did I buy such crappy games...

I like some of the other things it mentions, like the loyalty program.

Pretty cool, although how many of those features are ever implimented remains to be seen. I'm planning to buy a PS 3 pretty soon since they're quite cheap now and the library of games is finally worth it, so this appeals to me.
