Supposedly I'm 20, but I sure don't feel 20. Also I apparently look like a "little high school girl", so.

I couldn't conceive a dream so wet; your bongos make me congo.

What does that even mean? How am I supposed to act at 23? o_O

Complicated - because simple is simply too simple.

Back when I was a wee little boy people said I was mature for my age now folks seem to be unsure of my maturity level. Two years ago one girl said I seemed to be "permanently 14" another person has called me one level headed guy like I was in my late twenties. What Do you guys think?

All of time and space, anywhere and everywhere, any star that ever was. Where do you want to start?

[up]I think you should be all of them at once.

Honestly, the whole concept of "acting your age" is silly. No one "acts their age" anyway, they just act in accordance with the proper social norms of each situation in which they engage, usually. There's nothing wrong with embracing the inner you (as "motivational speaker"-ish as that sounds).

Unless the inner you is a homicidal maniac, of course.

Random thought.

Would it be accurate to say that you are grown up if you are financially and mentally indepedent?

I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.

[up][up]Well, then I'd just suggest playing some GTA or something. *shrug*

[up]Sounds pretty accurate to me.

I don't think financial dependence matters so much, because there are many reasons an otherwise mature and "grown-up" person might not have achieved financial independence.

I'm totally not biased.

You need an adult.

Well, at least in the traditional sense. It's a somewhat obsolete definition these days, but it still is a good indicator.

I've been told that I act very mature for my age. But there are some aspects of my life where I'm not mature, like in emotional issues
