For such a controversial topic for months (what with the purported use of AI and being seen as disrespectful), “Now and Then” has already come and gone. It was a fine Beatles track, but if it was released by Lennon or on the Beatles Anthology, there wouldn’t have been the hullabaloo around it.
Discombobulate.It was controversial?
All I'd heard about it was people either liking it or joking about the way it was made. The AI stuff is just a software to separate instruments, it isn't creating anything synthetic.
I guess some people (including myself tbh) believed they were using AI to generate Lennon’s vocals, rather than isolate them.
You’re right that it’s the vaguest definition of a controversy, for a band with far more infamous ones.

Discombobulate. All the good stuff made it to the official albums. Most of the cut demos and such are neat, but rarely a big deal. Getting some of the alt takes on White Album and Abbey Road were the most interesting.
Eh, I think Anderson Paak had the right idea with his tattoo
the statement above is falseThere are now three things in life guaranteed. Death, taxes, and posthumous albums nobody asked for.
Discombobulate.Given the chance, I'd go the Prince route, and make entire albums explicitly for the purpose of being released after my death.
I would also have them issued directly to the public domain. Fuck them heir bastards and record companies, they got enough of my money.
Creed of the Happy Pessimist:Always expect the worst. Then, when it happens, it was only what you expected. All else is a happy surprise.Sad part is that Prince had no heirs.
The Beatles posthumous songs seem to be a First Installment Wins case, with "Free As a Bird" remaining the most remembered and played one while "Real Love" and "Now and Then" didn't last much once the novelty wore off.
But to bring back to Todd, updating on previous posts, two artists enter the weighted lists with just 3 songs, David Guetta in the Worst (#1 in '22, #4 in '23... and "Sexy Bitch" adds in a #4 in '10 due to the quirk that the six in the video are below five Todd reviewed) and Billie Eilish in the Best (#1 in '19, #2 in '21, #4 in '23); Drake's two entries caused what's no small feat, surpassing Chris Brown in the weighted Worse; and Taylor rises in both the weighted and pure entries Best.

I have a bit of a hot take: I really did not like his 'review' of Last Night. Because it's sort of not really a review. For the first half of it, it feels like it's just him trying to figure out his conflicted thoughts on Morgan Wallen since Todd praised him in one of his 'Best Of' videos, only for Morgan to do something really dumb and offensive shortly afterwards. And when he does get to actually talking about the song, he just goes 'eh, it's whatever'. He gives a bit of critique of the song, but then goes back to talking about Morgan and what he did. Maybe I'm just a bit sour since I hate country, and I got really annoyed at how this country song was topping the pop charts, so I was stuck listening to it for forever. So when Todd released that Last Night review, I was expecting, hoping for him to tear into the song. Instead, what I got was 'I'm not sure know how to feel about him! Maybe he wasn't that bad of a person?'
Fortunately, I finally got that ripping apart I wanted for so long when Todd put Last Night as #1 on his Worst List. I'm glad I have it now, I just wish that's what I got when he first reviewed the song.
Todd and Lina talk about the Grammys:
I like how it's a Youtube video titled PODCAST.
And then I tried to find a podcast version to DL it so I could, you know. Listen to the podcast. And it didn't exist yet.

I know that. It's just funny that the video came out before the podcast.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them. So, what do you guys think if some of the bands/artists covered in Trainwreckords could see Todd's videos of their albums that presumable ended their career?
You can't kill art.A guy from Arrested Development actually watched the video and didn't get the point.
Ah, yeah, that.
But I meant others who may try like Will Smith or Ringo.
You can't kill art. Many probably already heard most of that stuff, really.
Wake me up at your own risk.Yeah, Todd isn't really a Hot Take guy, nor does he purport to do a lot of original reporting. Many of the Trainwreckords are know if not by that name, still very much by that reputation.

I figured they would be a Hendrix Clause. I wonder what makes Todd do this.

Are we gonna expect some Zoolander jokes?
You can't kill art.Literally at the beginning Todd says he does OHW episodes like these to troll the British .
Some blink-and-maybe-miss-them clip(s?) scattered about.
Is there still hope for an episode on Madness then I wonder?
Joke? Why are you calling it a joke? You drew a picture of two dudes hugging and wrote "I love hugs!" on it.
Eh...yeah, that's kinda fair tbh.
It's not a bad song, but it was kind of eh at the end of the day.
