I went to see it on Saturday. First time I've seen it in cinemas, being rather small when it came out originally.
I hadn't watched it for about a year and had forgotten just what a good film it was. Plus the sound was slightly on the loud side and there is nothing quite like feeling your seat vibrate with a T-Rex roar!
Sad thing was, we were in one of the bigger screen rooms (the ones usually reserved for 3D) and there were only about 15 people there. This re-release has had shocking publicity, especially for something as big as JP.
Boo and here I thought you were talking state side. Sigh guess I will have to wait.
You will never love a women as much as George Lucas hates his fans.It would probably be in 3D...
You are displaying abnormally high compulsions to over-analyze works of fiction and media. Diagnosis: TV Tropes Addiction.Oh, fucking YES! I've watched that movie like what, fourteenth time but hell, it would be worth it.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. An American release probably won't be happening any time soon. Most theatres with digital projectors have Dolby Digital and it's insisted that this film be screened with DTS (since Spielberg was a backer of DTS and has all his movies mixed with it).
More Buscemi at http://forum.reelsociety.com/Well, this failed horrendously. Halfway through the film every projector in the cinema suddenly died.
Complimentary tickets and a refund, though, so I suppose it's not all bad.

Ouch, that's not good. Which cinema type was that?
Cineworld. I can't fault their response, though.

A fistful of me.
...in the UK, at least.
Anyone else taking the opportunity to see Jurassic Park on the big screen? I was a very young child when it was first released, so it's great to have a chance to see it in a cinema again. I'm going to one of the showings tomorrow.
