Also probably Darker Than Black and The World God Only Knows, but I'm not sure about the probabilities of those two at all.

Haruhi? I'm sure it will come out eventually. Maybe more Haruhi Chan in the meantime would be too much to ask for though.

I think Durarara proved to be popular enough so I think we will have another season pretty soon. I think.

Seconding Panty And Stocking With Garterbelt. Maybe Ore Imo. Index III is almost inevitable. And Amagami SS 2 has been announced... so I guess that's all.

But frankly if I had a choice between that and another season of Baccano, I would pick the latter.

Man, I really got to check that series out, then.

OK, just don't expect the depth of character and theme that you get in Durarara then. Not that there's a lot, but since the show's all about people having a projected self and a true self, the characters have layers to them. I don't want you to be disappointed by the flat characters in Baccano and I say that in the most affectionate possible way. They are extremely vibrant and extremely single-minded for the most part.

Character depth in DRRR...I don't know about that. I read the novel up to seventh one, but because the characters' morality is so distorted and the author's prose style sometimes too pretentious that I don't really see it, imo.

Either that or I just watch/read the series for Shizuo Smash and others tend to get ignored.

...And I on the other hand am now a little motivated to check out Durarara.

Well, as long as they can do it without detracting too much from the overall mystery at the heart of the show. Which isn't to say they shouldn't reveal anything.

I just think the side characters needed more focus. Shoot, you could probably get a few episodes dealing with what their issues were during that few day period when Yuri was unconcious. As it stands, it just feels like an episode or two was missing.

I personally think that there should have been at least twelve more episodes to fully explain The Purgatory (at least to the point where things make sense) and everyone's background.

I think Angel Beats should just get the FMA treatment. You know, remake which showcases what it could/should have been.

There are way too many anime out there that could really use the FMA treatment. The problem with that is that none of said shows have sales numbers anywhere near FMA.

In any case, The World God Only Knows and Nagasarete Airantou.

That series got really lucky with its adaptations; even derailing from the canon because the original material was not enough, led to another quite well reviewed series of its own, while successfully and mastefully adapting the entire manga till the very end without a single filler episode.

Now, if only Ken Akamatsu was as lucky...

Please no more Negima anime... unless it's from the manga.... And since Ro Kyu Bu ends this week I want a sequel for it too.

That's what I mean by Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood treatment: anime adaptation faithful to the original manga with tasteful change that makes some scenes even better.

Again, Hiromu Arakawa got really lucky.
