Youtube video: Romantic False Lead

Those are bad, right? I recall a moderator saying in passing (somewhere...) that videos weren't allowed... except a moderator was the one to put this video up. So what's the policy?

As I can see there was no image before it. It just kept getting pulled down and put back up again.

Isn't this a part of that project where some people demonstrate tropes with videos and get featured in the place of page images? Eh, I can't say I care for it, but I don't think it breaks the rules.

Yeah, the video was made by tropers, which is why it got a pass. I'm still not sold on the idea of using videos like this, since the point of the image is to provide a fast illustration of the trope, and the youtube video takes longer to explain the trope than the page itself does. Then again, since a mod put it there, we should probably leave it until we get official word. Maybe we should start a thread about whether we want to start using videos like this.

The videos were supposed to be moved to a button, but apparently either that one was missed or the move never took place at all.

I have no idea if the move ever took place.

So... We going to do something about this?

Anyone else getting a "Service Unavailable" instead of the video link?
