Another American war for freedom?

Now how many people n the masses understand the Art of War? How many of that group have the skill to apply those teachings?

Take a look t Libya if you want to know what happens when civilians with no training try to go toe to the with the military.

Indeed. They had lots of help, mostly by their own soldiers who defected to the NTC in droves.

Unfortunately, I remember in the course of a few weeks of intently watching any and all updates on Libya, seeing fewer and fewer Libyan military uniforms amongst the rebels. They kept on desperately trying to hold Gaddafi's forces back on the front lines, and attrition was starting to take its toll.

Not to say the civilians didn't do their best to do their part, but plenty of them were getting themselves killed by not listening to the experts and deciding that mounting a machinegun they've never used on the back of a pickup truck and driving towards Tripoli was somehow a viable plan. Idiots got what they deserved. The civilians who stayed behind to train and learn how to use their gear were the wise ones.
