"I looked forward to going underwater more than making the documentary!"

Actual quote, people.

That's because of Cameron's underwater fetish. (I'm convinced this is a thing)

I'm back!

This was actually my first time seeing the movie. My mom believes that certain movies need to be watched in a theater, and that this movie should be watched ONLY in a theater. And I have to admit, she was right. Very impressive. Oddly enough, the most depressing parts for me were when it was focusing on the minor people instead of Jack and Rose. Probably because those several of those things were most likely real. It was better than Avatar, at any rate. Which brings me to the 3D. Maybe it's because I haven't seen a 3D movie in a while, but I was quite pleased with it. It gives the picture depth and though it may be less important at times, it's always there. The soundtrack was really good, too. Don't think I've heard an Award-Bait Song woven into the score like that.

Oh, at at the very end, after the Fade to Black but before "My Heart Will Go On" kicks in, the theater was quiet except for a lone woman sobbing at the top of her lungs. Yes, lady, cry for the fictional characters instead of the actual deaths.

By the way, Mark, the boobs were not in 3D.

[up] /sob. That's the ONLY reason I would have gone to see it.

You will never love a women as much as George Lucas hates his fans.

I saw it yesterday, and for the first time as well. I'm gonna say that I found it to be every bit as good as people hype it up to be.

Also, I'd always wondered how they could make the movie three hours long with what I already knew from the plot...and now I've realized it: They had the ship sinking in real time. (More or less, anyway.)

And now I'm sad that Kate Winslet doesn't have red hair anymore.

Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.

[up] The entire second half of the movie is amazing. Anyone with a vague idea of history knows what's going to happen and they give you a very simple, scientific run-down of how it happened in the beginning...and then you see it. And it's horrifying. IMO, having it happen in real time definitely upped the Nightmare Fuel. When you realize just how fast it all was, it's just...(shudder).
