For a while in DOA 2 U I was able to do the izuna drop consistently.
I was able to pull it off occasionally in DOA4, though it happened more often in Practice mode than a real match. My friends would refer to it as "Primary Lotus through the bridge" since pulling it off on that level with that creaky wooden bridge would (obviously) result in putting a nice hole right through it for extra damage.

Huh so Zack really is working with Helena now. Hoping Alpha isn't the final boss AGAIN. I hated her, in fact everyone hated her.

Yep, but it IS what makes Ryu so frickin' awesome. Call it Awesome, but Impractical, but... yeah.
Besides, if you get sick of it, just use Troy Baker's voice than Hideyuki Hori's. While I appreciate Troy, I bet he doesn't have Hideyuki's HOOOOAAAAHHH and TSSSEEEAAAAHHH and use a different yell.
Gen-fu doesn't have an image. Not a good sign for him. Also… how is a DOA tournament supposed to show "the principles and philosophies upholding the new DOATEC"?
In NG3 Baker is a bit less noisy (and admittedly less awesome)… but I suppose the best is yet to learn how to do awesome moves with Ryu myself. Then the screams will become music to my ears!

It's more like Gen Fu is not really integral to the tournament anymore, he did his part and mentored Eliot quite well, I guess he's only appearing as a honorable mentioni if he's entering the tournament at all.

Story mode sounds...eh. And no character specific themes? :(

Eh, I won't really miss them since I barely paid attention to them. As for Gen-Fu, I think he'll end up like Hitomi in DOA Ultimate: unlockable, but probably has no effect on the story.
Now that's what I call sacrificing yourself to your job.
Their fights were actually pretty nice too.

I liked the school uniforms. Not for the Fetish Fuel, because underage schoolgirls do NOT turn me on in the slightest, but because it reminds me of Rival Schools.

Just looked at the pictures. It's not just Mila, this Sarah girl is new too. Or maybe not, she is so bland that I probably wouldn't notice her. Somehow, the designs of a all new (known) characters are rather bland. Mila gets points for having a rather fanservice-less one, though.

Oh right, Virtua Fighter. No wonder, she's so bland.
It's been a long time since I played the first two games. I bought the fourth one a while ago, but found it boring so I didn't play it much. Due to that, I forgot about most of the characters. I only remember Akira and the one black guy, whose name I forgot. I also remember that there is a Chinese girl, a ninja and some old guy. Also someone who looks like the blind guy (yeah I forgot the name) from Rurouni Kenshin, but only because Watatsuki mentioned him as inspiration.

Black guy is Jeffery, chinese girl is Pai(who is also in), Kage = ninja and shun-di is the old dude. Not sure about the blind guy though. If its Usui the dude with the shield and spear than probably Lau, who is Pai's father so it's possible he'll appear in Pai's ending.

Is it even confirmed that this Pai will be in? I think we would have heard of it already, and the devs only talked about one male and one female character from VF…

Three VF characters would be quite much. I'd find it odd that there are so many guest characters from one series.
Then again, Soul Calibur IV had three guest characters from Star Wars, of all things.
