It's Attention Whore mixed with Well-Intentioned Extremist. Not only does Roz want to do good no matter the cost, she wants to be the one seen doing good. Even if other people don't agree with her. I imagine that, despite what Roz is saying, more than a little of this is because of her feelings of inadequacy to her sister, who seems to just skate by on dumb luck despite her horrible politics. I'm sure she feels like this is Laser-Guided Karma.

Honestly, the longer we go on, the more apparent it's becoming that Roz doesn't care about LGBT people as much as she thinks she does.
Basically talking over LGBT people in order to insult Joyce when she realized her views were putting people in harm's way, when it wasn't her place to have that conversation.
And now ignoring the fact that people are being outed against their will and put in harm's way just because she wants her sister to get shit on.
Roz is honestly a pretty big example of the sort of liberal asshole who talks a big game, but in practice isn't actually helping LGBT people at all.

I will give willis credit, he does a good job of writing a liberal asshole, mostly because he does it in a way that has actual depth and nuance. A lot of her issues are also clearly a case of her being young and rebellious. Most of the things she does (sex tape) would be nonexistant if you slapped a few years and independence on her.
