Sorry I haven't been putting out any Fluff pieces. I've had writers block, other writing projects, and school to keep me swamped.
I'm thinking about doing a piece that regards the Marine's hatred for the Tau, and their relentless pursuit of the Ethereal responsible for destroying Hive Primaris.
Do not be so quick to make foolish offers, Daemon. Araghast too once thought I would be an asset to his cause. Look what has become of him. There have been a few cases were the daemon was outright obliterated. The Emperor managed to do it I believe and Inquisitor Eisenhorn destroyed a (relatively minor) daemon though it shattered his his force sword in the process.
Politics is the skilled use of blunt objects. It could be part of a multiple-millennia Just As Planned? That could work.
Maybe this Lord of Change is like Ka'Bandha is to the Blood Angels, a sort of "recurring daemon" that the Ghost Walkers have to try and out-Just As Plan every millennia or so?
Still not embarrassing enough to stan billionaires or tech companies. So I was going back to our idea of vehicles a while back, vehicles having camo-netting and all. What sort of weapons would they actually use that wouldn't immediately give away their, and by extension, the Ghost Walkers' location? I can imagine them giving Crusaders and stuff to the Crimson Hounds, and maybe having Predator Annihilators (the ones with lots and lots of lascannons) in their armory for popping vehicles from really friggin' far away, and possibly speeders to get scout sniper teams to where they need to be, but I can't think of anything else.
Still not embarrassing enough to stan billionaires or tech companies.IG-type stuff, with low profiles. Tank Hunter, maybe the Devil Dog, as both are suited to ambush though the range bracket changes.
If anyone asks where they came from, they are mysteriously Stalker bolted.
Modified Tarantula sentry guns. Low profile, easy to conceal, break down into several parts for transportation by a squad on foot, another way to get a heavy weapon on the field for an ambush and the range/mode issues matter less from ambush. Also you don't lose a Marine when someone spots the heavy weapon and kills it.

Nous restons ici. You're sure Space Marines would fit in a Devil Dog? Those things are meant for normal people, after all.
I like the idea with easily taken-down Tarantula Sentries. Maybe the Chapter's Techmarines construct them and teach every neophyte how to operate them, as part of their training?
Still not embarrassing enough to stan billionaires or tech companies. Here's another fluff piece. Just for Fun

Do not be so quick to make foolish offers, Daemon. Araghast too once thought I would be an asset to his cause. Look what has become of him.If I ever get back to writing about Fabian Pawlak I'll probably overblow Sido's memetic badassery.
Still not embarrassing enough to stan billionaires or tech companies.Did we ever name the current Captain of the 10th Company?
Still not embarrassing enough to stan billionaires or tech companies.Space reserved for fluffitude of one of the tank officers.
And a bump, I guess. This has been inactive for a little too long. This is too awesome an idea to let slip.
Still not embarrassing enough to stan billionaires or tech companies.Blurg. Are we still doing this?
Do not be so quick to make foolish offers, Daemon. Araghast too once thought I would be an asset to his cause. Look what has become of him.I wish we were.

Still not embarrassing enough to stan billionaires or tech companies.
Perhaps in defeat the Lord of Change intentionally granted them this gift...as a lure for its future vengeance.
(I'm not clear on this; daemons can't be permanently killed in physical combat, right? Just banished for a thousand years or whatever?)
Only the sun has stopped.
