[up][up] I like that idea :D

[up] I thought they have a base grey or light blue color, over which they paint camouflage according to the needs of each mission.

Who exactly knows about the secret, besides a few inquisitors and, obviously, those inside the chapter?

[up]I was thinking they have a network of non-Space Marine agents throughout the sectors they control. In the local PDF/Government/Population. This way, they'll have eyes and ears everywhere in the sector.

Also, some Walkers affiliated Forge Worlds might know.

I propose this color scheme for the Crimson Hounds Diversionary Non-chapter.

"Sarchasm: The gulf between the author of sarcastic wit and the person that doesn't get it."

The way I thought of the Crimson Hounds were as a bro-tier Chapter that the Ghostwalkers are really good friends with. They're the diversion that allows the GW to do their thing, but they're descendants of different Chapters with different gene-seed.

Also, the Crimson Hounds are a Flawed Chapter (which means we'll have to roll up a failed organ), and our Codex Demeanor is (I rerolled this one because otherwise we would have had Stealth) Suffer Not the Work of Heretics. Apparently we're a HERESY-unfriendly Chapter.

Roll d100 for chance of gene-seed mutation, and roll a d10 for Chapter Flaw.

Edit: damn, ninja'd!!!

So in the end it would be two chapters that work as one? What about the overall hierarchy? Are the Crimson Hounds under the authority of the Ghost Walkers, or the other way around?

[up] They both have their own Chapter Master and agenda, it's more that they pool their collective brains and play to each of their strengths.

[up][up] Looks like we have no gene-seed mutation. Our Chapter Flaw is Chapter Cult. Apparently we've established our own version of the Imperial Faith. Ecclesiarchs be mad.

I've decided on a Chapter Characteristic, +5 WS and +5 to Fellowship. Stalwart leaders and frontline fighters are the order of the day.

Roll d100 for Figures of Legend and d100 for Deed of Legend.

[up]Our Figure of Legend is the 1st Company Captain, who boarded an Eldar craftworld and inflicted horrendous damage with the Chapter's First Company.

Roll d100 for homeworld and d100 for predominant terrain.

[up][up][up]Alternately, we believe the Eccelesiarchs and the other Marines be mad. (This was written from a Marine standpoint for Deathwatch, covering squad interaction.)

[up][up] I'll go with these two. Our Chapter Planet is a Feral World Wasteland. Lots of savages who would probably relish the chance to swing a chainsword.

Roll d10 for organization and d10 for Combat Doctrine.

[up]We are a Divergent Chapter. We take most of our tactics from the Codex Astartes, but we field some unique formation.

Our Chapter Tactic is Shock and Awe, aka nuking shit from orbit before sending in the choppy choppy. Goes well with the whole "distraction" thing.

Roll d100 for Solo Mode ability and 2d100 for Offensive and Defensive Squad Mode respectively.

So we now have two Chapters part of the same Chapter organization? That Diumverate of Shadows thing might crop up again.

I think the Crimson Hounds and Ghost Walkers should be led by two brothers, similar to Alpharius and Omegon.

I'll roll up our Squad/Solo Mode.

Solo Mode ability: We mirror our parent Chapter, the Blood Angels, and thus we have the Blood Frenzy Solo Mode ability.

Our Squad Mode patterns are Storm of Hell (giving everyone in Squad Mode Furious Assault and Frenzy) and Only In Death... which prevents anyone in support range of getting critically damaged (if the critical damage would kill them) this round.

d100 for speciality restriction (if you want to roll for that), and d100 for Special Equipment.

[up][up]That wouldn't make sense since they come from different geneseed stocks.

I'm thinking that the Chapter Masters of both Chapters are actually equivalent in rank to a Company Captain or something and both a led by a singular Chapter Master from the organization's true headquarters.

[up] What do you know, we have no Librarians. Are we seeing some Black Templar tendencies here?

Our special equipment is a Totemic Charm. Perhaps this ties into our deviant cult?

Roll d100 on Chapter beliefs and d10 on Current Strength.

We already agreed that both Chapters would look like they're perpetually under-strength.

The other one: 6.

[up] Revere the Primarch. Our Primarch (Sanguinius) has a central role in our Chapter Cult.

d100 for for Chapter Friends, d100 for Chapter Enemies.

[up]We're friends with another Adeptus Astartes Chapter (Ghost Walkers, obviously), and we really like stomping Chaos, more specifically one Chaos Legion. Which should it be?

Like the dictator I am, I've decided our Advance Table is the Strength of Arms table.

That's it, then. We have our Blood Angels successor Chapter. Anyone else want to recap?
