Bit of a rough start, but I'm getting my eye in.

I'm basically at the point where I'm not winning, but I can make it real annoying for the other person to win.

I've been seeing them posting more on their social media though, particularly on Twitter.

I'm at a metered connection right now, so I'ma go to the mall in a couple of hours to leech bandwidth to download this thing. Then I can see how it goes.

So my thoughts..!

With the exception of Oleander's super which has a gdlk hitbox, all of the supers seem to hit very inconsistently. I think Arizona's super is really especially frustrating to land in a combo because of this. Tianhuo's super is really hard to land when starting it from the ground, I think it's really intended to be used an air super.

Pom's legion super is gonna be a hell to animate. I'm taking that as a sign that we won't be seeing the game's final release in a while. But at least all the network stuff seems to be ironed out. I just can't figure out how to exit the pixel lobbies! (I just quit the program.)

So I am glad everyone has similar strings, making it easy to figure out the combos of the others.

I intended to use Oleander and I wasn't disappointed. I also like Tianhuo even though she seems to lack actual ground special moves of any sort. I think she could use an "uppercut" though, since it works for her character.

I can't do supers to save my life, but Pom's basic attacks can be nasty chained together.

Oleander seems pretty neat. Looks like the basic strategy is to keep the enemy away with the projectiles and burning puddles, read the book to charge the super and special meters, and then use it on the super.

Supers... if yer on keyboard? Well I can't blame you for failing them, keyboard ghosting is silly. :)

Even if it's only qcf+BC... only pro keyboards can consistently do it. Knowing Skullgirls input leniency though, rolling B~C (s-key to d-key) also registers for the double button press.

I think Oleander's a bit good, she has projectile zoning and good reach on her normal attacks that lead into combos.

Velvet's C covers more space though (a good comparison is Glacius in Killer Instinct 2015, but somehow it feels like Velvet actually has less projectiles.

Hm, would this affect the whole confidentiality thing?

I suppose I should read the full agreement. But the "in short" version they gave upon loading the game basically just said "don't stream". I should check to see if discussion is off the table.
