I'm just glad I jumped ship for Verizon before AT&T started getting (even more) greedy. I was really disappointed when I heard about this merger, and I'm glad someone's trying to stop it.

Either way, it's about damn time. I hate AT&T...
I am now known as Flyboy.Verizon, the 2nd largest wireless company, editing first post to say that.
Seriously, anti-trust laws to the rescue!

USAF: T-Mobile, the only other GSM carrier in the US. (Well, okay, Verizon is using GSM LTE for their 4G, but that doesn't count since their 3G is still CDMA.)
And no, AT&T is not buying Verizon. If that were the case, it probably never would have gotten this far, because no one wants to see the Bell System reconstituted any further than it has been. :P

Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayI was worried we were getting awfully close to having the full Bell again◊, but finally the government has decided to stop the buyouts here.
Yes, larger service provider systems can in theory provide greater service for less. In practice, they choose not to.
Look, you can't make me speak in a logical, coherent, intelligent bananna.Woohoo!
Your cellular mobile telecoms network still is one of the crappiest in the world though. Even before this merger-acquisition.
Funnily enough, T-Mobile UK are much better than T-Mobile America.

If the buyout of Verizon happens, AT&T would have 75% of the wireless market.
Thats scary as shit.
This will be interesting, to say the least.
