Or just invading heaven to solve everything.

Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Maybe in the third game we'll see a bizarro version of Lukka or something. Seems to be a repeating patterns with meeting alternate selves.
So apparently there's going to be an announcement today or tomorrow. I wonder what it's going to be.
Loki as a DLC character in Tag Climax, perhaps?
I have a message from another time...Maybe new levels as free DLC.
I'm not seeing anything coming from Platinum's website or Twitter, other than that the artbook is going on sale in Japan tomorrow.
Lampshade Hanging: It's a lifestyle.Hah. How fitting that it goes on sale on Christmas day.
I have a message from another time...Indeed.
They also said to keep an eye on their Facebook page.
Got it under the tree today (well, last night. Family re-appropriated an old father's side tradition of unboxing on Christmas Eve).
Since this is my second Action Game ever and it's been two years since i touched Ninja Gaiden 3, it's going to take me a bit to get used to it. I am starting on normal mode, though, simply because i want to avoid the "automatic" stuff. Not knowing the difference, it sounds like the kind of crutch that would impact how you learn the game.
It is. It's fine on the easier difficulties but it will hinder you on the harder ones (and on some bosses even on the easier ones).
Does this game have a Turbo Mode like DMC?
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Second question: how in the hell do you play that shooting minigame? Apparently A isn't "fire", and clicking everything, i fired off all of my rounds before i could figure out which button actually worked.
It's pretty simple. Gun button shoots, kick button ends the game early.
Lampshade Hanging: It's a lifestyle.Ah, X.
I wonder if they said that somewhere and i just missed it?
Huh. Page 69. I wonder who's more innuendo-licuous. Mad Moxxi, or Bayonetta?
More importantly:
Yeah, now i noticed the controls were in the corner of the screen.
First big boss (Fortitudo) was fun once i got a hang of it. I was annoyed by a procedural thing: if you died, that got held against you in terms of your final score, but dying set you back to square one same as if you merely quit and re-selected the chapter. It seems to me in that context that you should at least put checkpoints in, to make a functional difference between choosing "yes" and "no" at the game over screen. As it is, there's no difference except that you'll get a worse grade for choosing "yes".
Fortitudo is an awesome boss, I think he's easier with Durga and yeah the mechanics are weird but i love the big bosses in Bayo. They feel epic and she takes a serious level in badass during them.
I know Bayo 2 is very vivid, but i see people on GAF complaining how Bayo 1 is drab aesthetically and I'm thinking WHAT? Only chapter 3 came off like that and ugh are they just spoiled by Nintendo games typically being oversaturated with colors or what is really going on? Like how is Vigrid or Paradiso(sea of stars especially) darb in any sense? Holy crap.
I think the demons are TOO vivid in Bayo 2 for my own personal taste but still gamers have gotten spoiled jeez.
I'll ask again:
Does this game (and the first) have a Turbo Mode like DMC?
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! You're going about as fast as in turbo mode when you start the game, and if you make a point of buying certain techniques like Umbran Spear, it only gets faster.
Lampshade Hanging: It's a lifestyle.Good good. There are few things that feel as good as stylishly kicking ass at high speed.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Beat Bayo 1. The final boss was manageable, but had some annoying bits, especially the tornado segment. I also failed the whole "throw her in the sun" bit, because i thought you were supposed to slam into the planets on the way, like a Humiliation Conga or something. Had much more fun with Father Balder and especially Final Jeanne.
Is there a Chapter-Select mode? The way it makes it look, it just wants me to replay the story in hard mode. I'd rather go back and see what i missed, like Angelic LPs or a lot of Verses that i skipped over. I'd rather master normal.
Also, where are the alternate costumes? Do you buy those, or what?
There's definitely a chapter select. Just move on that screen with the "board game" thing showing your location.
I can't remember exactly how you switch costumes (I think it's also part of the chapter select), but the Nintendo ones are available from the start in Bayo 1.
This isn't the case with Bayo 2, though; you need to buy the Super Mirror 64, and then the actual costumes.

I have a message from another time...Hit the lock-on button to display the submenu. That contains the chapter select and the costume switcher. However, you have to buy the Super Mirror and the Couture Bullets before you can equip any costumes. The Super Mirror comes with a free costume, but the rest have to be bought individually.

I love the idea of invading heaven to solve the energy crisis.
