Oh man.

Hearing fantastic things makes me sad that I can't get this, in fear of getting caught by the 'rents.

And I'm also a bit worried that I might not be able to get a copy with Bayonetta 1 if I do manage to sneak a copy in.

Bayo 1 will more than likely always be packaged with Bayo 2 if you buy a physical copy and the discount should always apply if you buy it digitally. There shouldn't be anything to worry about there.

Got it yesterday, replaying through Bayonetta 1 and it's an absolute joy. Can't wait to get to 2 grin

I just got a Wii U. Have to say I never played the first Bayonetta, but seeing as this game seems to be a critical darling at the moment and the highest profile third party recent release, I'm sorely tempted to check it out in support of more of these kinds of games for the Wii U, especially since it includes what seems to be the definitive version of the first game basically for free. I'm sure it's good and I wouldn't regret picking it up, but is it really like near perfect review score good?

Play the demo. That'll give you a pretty good idea.

I wonder, does the Wii U release of Bayo 1 fix any errors like Affinities being referred to as Archangels or Sapientia's missing model in the airship takeoff?

[up]x3 Regardless of scores, the game is pretty fun. You'll be doing yourself a disservice if you don't at least check the demo.

The first one is packaged with it, too, so you won't miss out on the first game either.

And if you decide to get one of the games on the eShop, you'll get a discount on the other so that both games together cost $59.98.

the first bayonetta is bar none the best action game i have ever played.

if the second one is anywhere near as good, it's worth getting.

Just learned what Midas's Testament does. I wonder if Platinum put that in to make it easier for people to farm halos, since there are a lot more things to purchase and some of the better stuff from the first game had their prices upped accordingly.

Well the demo was good enough that I decided to give it a shot. I'm starting with the first game of course. Didn't get that far into it yet but I'm enjoying it so far. Kinda making a point of using the default costume since it's my first time through, but I'll have to replay chapters with those Nintendo character costumes eventually.

Anyway, all I can say is thank goodness Smash Bros doesn't come out for another month. It'll give me time to get through these two full games, not to mention my wallet would hate me if that was coming out anytime soon. When I went to Best Buy to pick this up, there were only two copies left in back, and the guy working there said they seemed to be selling as fast as he could put them out. I'm hoping that's a good sign for the sales figures.

I purchased the game just now. My brain hurts from reading the manual.

All the information I need to consider. Combos, controls, and everything.

But when I play the game I'm sure the tutorial and experience will make things easier to handle.

Ho ho ho.

On the plus side, every loading screen offers you time to practice all of Bayonetta's moves.

And if you want to practice outside of loading screens, there's an option in the level select screen to go into training mode. Kinda surprised that wasn't in the first game.

Nintendo of America to run a cross-promotional campaign with Playboy Magazine. Yes, THAT Playboy. Don't worry, it seems like it's Safe For Work.

Why on earth would anyone want Safe-For-Work Bayonetta.

Explain that to me.

I find it highly amusing that Nintendo thought the Link costume wasn't sexy enough.

It's too bad the Star Fox costume isn't in the original game.
