I thought Bayonetta's "weakness" was mostly her being out of practice compared to Jeanette.

We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)Yeah and considering she still loses to Bayo each time she's apparently not more powerful and partly it's Gameplay and Story Segregation.
They're on equal footing.
I do not believe she's actually dead in any case.
I mean in Raw Power. Not skill or defense but raw power. Also While I like Bayonettas New design and prefer it.... I really do not like Jeanne's new one.
I drink 17 cups of coffee in court.I like Jeanne with long hair better then short hair, IMO.
Watch SymphogearYeah Jeanne's new design is just ugly and doesn't fit her. Hoping her alternates are better.
Not enough Baroque design. It's just a jumpsuit!

Also the new hair on Bayo is good but the outfit itself isn't as good as the old one. And this image◊ doesn't help. I think the hair sleeves ruin the outfit. And the chest area is inferior.

I fail to see how this game could look any better on the 'Real Eighth Generation' machines. The fact that it looks like that on the tablets is even more amazing.
Sure Platinum could probably make full use of all the hardware they get but I say the U is enough for them.
Most games that will come out in the next 12 months will only look like minor improvements compared to the past games of this year.
The major exception to this rule seems to MGSV, but that is being done in a their own custom engine that looks like is years ahead of their competitors.
From what I saw of it, it was made with the PC first in mind and is then retro-fit back to the consoles, so they have more leway on how things look.
Does that sage has high heels?◊

Seems they'll continue the trend of the real badasses being all women.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.He's actually Raiden? What a twist!

Hope so, seeing as it's a better trend then the Lumen Sages all being ridiculous camp stereotypes.
Yeah, then again, apparently they can be pretty masculine.
As masculine as Raiden can get anyway.

That's not a lot.
He doesn't even have a dick.
I'm going on a limb here and saying, dickless or not, Raiden is still far more masculine than Father Baldr.
DO YOU WANT TO MESS WITH THE PEACOCK?
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.When you lift a UMG and then slice it into several dozen pieces like Raiden does, you're given a pass.
We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)Now we have to discuss if Rodin or Balder is more masculine since they're practically headswaps.
Uh, Rodin. That's not even a question. Besides the obvious, he also has 100% less peacock feathers.
Yeah. They may go One-Winged Angel the same way, but eh.
Of course, Bayonetta is actually one of very few action games out there with a feminine protagonist. And a very distinct take on said femininity at that.
One thing to keep in mind, guys.
Umbran Witches are all women.
Lumen Sages are all men.
That's why Bayonetta was taught as a witch, not a sage.
Absolutely. Bayonetta's utterly feminine, and shows that the traits that are associated with kicking ass aren't solely the domain of men.

Very big Daydream Believer. "That's not knowledge, that's a crapshoot!" -Al Murray "Welcome to QI" -Stephen Fry
Isn't Jeanne more powerful than Bayonetta? In actualy gameplay she does more damages. And she did Umbran Climaxes before Bayonetta. And did it multiple times in a row without a limiter (The sinking plane in Bayonetta)
