I would probably not touch any belt at all if it were in Faizes universe.

Or Ryuki's for that matter.

Why, hello there my dearest whippersnappers. I seem to have missed all the fun things you're all discussing. One month without internet will do that.

I'd talk about Drive, but since I've missed the last episode for Gaim and don't know where to find it, or the Drive episodes, I can't. Can anybody help me by giving me youtube links, including Gaim 47? (as you know, I hate HATE downloading videos. Maybe I've a phobia of downloading videos online...)

It's great that you're talking about the older entries, especially you Eva, with V3. Trust me, throw your logic and sanity away and enjoy the show.

Also, Maxwell, in case you don't know the Seven Riders fought the Delza Army; Shocker is long gone. Oh, and there's nothing about Hongo helping the CIA; he and Midorikawa Ruriko went to Swiss to fight the Shocker branch there, while as you know, Ichimonji guards Japan. Trust me, I'm the resident Showa Era Kamen Rider nut here.

But anyway, it's good to see you all having fun here [tup]

Which reminds me, Eva, have you seen the Gaim x Kikaider episode? I'm curious of what

I skipped the Gaim x Kikaider episode, and never got around to going back to it. Currently going through V3 (up to ep 10 IIRC) and Kabuto (up to ep 15 IIRC).

V3 is certainly a good show, but unfortunately there's only so much 70's TV logic I can take over a period of time, so that's why I haven't been going through it as faithfully as I have Kabuto.

Gonna PM you a link to Gaim 47, but I dunno how long it'll last.

I've actually been dl'ing Drive as it comes out, so I don't know where to watch them embedded.

It doesn't matter what name they called themselves, they were all SHOCKER in the end. Great Leader was always, always, ALWAYS pulling the strings in the end, and he continued to do so well into Faiz apparently.

And then he became Tsukasa.

Talk about if you can't beat them, join them eh?

That was weird.

And now, I don't know, I think Doctor Shinigami and Shadow Moon are the leaders of SHOCKER or something; after Goro Naya's passing they kind of retired Great Leader.

In a way, you are right that it's always been the Shocker Great Leader pulling the strings, regardless of how many organizations that appeared. Still, even though I don't feel good mentioning this, it's like the differences between the Nazis and the Wehrmacht; both consists of Germans, but what they are are WAAAAAAY different. In the case of the Showa Era organizations, they're worse... Wow, now I want a HYDRA-SHOCKER alliance to happen.

Speaking of Tsukasa, my headcanon demands that there have always been TWO of him; one is the hero we've seen, the other is the real one who's the new incarnation of JUDO. Which means our hero was a clone.

I remember you saying about skipping it, but I thought you'd told me you give it a chance. The show's over, what's the harm of watching something non-plot important like that episode?

If you want more wacky 70s logic, go watch Himitsu Sentai Gorenger. Despite that, that show is FAN-FUCKING-TASTIC. Toei wanted the Go-Busters to be a modernized spy series like them, but Gorengers did it better obviously.

Hey, I think I know why you have a hard time watching Showa era toku; you have nobody to watch it with.

Guess this Stranger will be hunting the episodes himself. Anyway, thanks for the link; you are a Bro. I know the User the video comes from, they have a lot of Kamen Rider videos.

Honestly, there are more qualified leaders than Shinigami and Shadow Moon. I vote General Shadow of the Delza Army and Apollo Geist of GOD as his second in command. No, not the Decade one, the original from Kamen Rider X.

[up][up][up]The logic of Shocker creating Decade is fun. They noticed that Rider always fights against the things that he derives power from, so they made a Rider that derives power from other Riders in hopes of holding the trend.

Which reminds me, remember the Wizard special with all the Heisei Riders? Amadum said that all of their powers have connection with the baddies in a way. Does Hibiki counts, because I forgot.

Anyway, anybody here watches RWBY? I need help for my fanfic, Dusts of Avarice (same basis as Rising unto the Stars)

See, I have plans for SI-Me as OOO fights the Yummies of the Beacon Faculty, but I have no idea which type of Yummies to use.

After reading more, I know something to do with Peter Port and Oobleck; one yearns for the glory of the hunt, while the other wants to delve deeper into history. I could use a Blood Knight for Port's Yummy and some sort of mad scientist Yummy for Oobleck, but what kind of Yummy types would fit them...

Yeah, that's a trope Kamen Rider shall never give up. Most amusingly in Drive, Tomari begins suspecting shared origin nearly immediately after his first encounter with the monsters and henshin.

... That's not exactly the answer I was looking for.

But yes, I don't think Kamen Rider would give up the "our heroes have some form of connection with the villains" trope whether they know it or not.

It's been a thing since Ishinomori made Cyborg 009.

So I'm watching Kamen Rider Double just like I said I would.....

Man, Akiko is gonna be hard to stomach. I hope she improves soon.

I hear she eventually marries Accel or something.

Well, I'll get the full details once I watch everything.

Double is a pretty good show. And much more lighthearted then Faiz ever was. Also it doesn't end on an anticlimax.

It does the comedic rider much better then Den-O ever did in my opinion.

Heh.

I suppose so.

Anyway, does anyone know when the events of the Decade Double Movie take place?

I know that it happens just before Terui appears, so I want to watch the movie just before that time.

On a completely different note, I watched a bit of the Wizard / Gaim movie.

If they fixed the stuff where Takatora should have seen Micchy going around (even if you could say he never saw him transform, and didn't think about who Ryugen was during the battle, it still doesn't change the fact that he should have been aware Micchi was a Beat Rider). If not for that, it would have fit pretty well into the story line.

Then again, it's clear that the movies just don't work with Gaim's storyline at all, which is weird considering the tight plotting. I mean, you think they would have coordinated with Urobuchi for that stuff a little.

You could check the date when the movie premiered in theaters and look at the air dates of the TV episodes to find out when it takes place.

Sooo anybody know where I can find Drive episodes on Youtube? I know it might be unlisted, but I expect a playlist sooner or later when I google it. How good is it?

The show will pretty much outright tell you when the movie takes place in the intro. Just watch after the second time movie clips are shown in the intro of the W.

Speaking of RWBY, the original opening, This Will be the Day, has always been in my mind for a toku music video.

Too bad I dunno how to make a video, it would've been so cooooool T_T

@Adannor: in that vein it also shows SHOCKER's flaw in the plan. They forgot that Kamen Riders always also find a way to throw a wrench in the plan of the badguys.

[up][up] I do, the problem is trying to get footage to make it work on Movie Maker of all things.

I actually had an idea for how to do a TWBTD MV, basically a Magiranger/Wizard mashup. Had at least a definitive scene in mind.

"Beware that the light is fading" Isamu becoming Wolzard, "Beware as the dark returns" Fueki becoming White Wizard

For me, the video involves all the Kamen Riders... Well, the title Riders, anyway.

First verse starts with the Heisei Riders as they first appeared, all innocent like until the monsters appears.

"We are Lightning" Scene of Godai transforming in the burning church, with Tsugami-Wataru transforming with him

"Day and night..." From Tsukasa to Kouta, they do their henshin poses and shouted "HENSHIN" together.

Then the main chorus starts (it's called a chorus right? I dunno terms, honestly) with scenes of Kuuga to Gaim doing their Rider Kicks.

When "Simple souls!" stars, Gaim didn't do his rider kick... he finished off the first Inves... Aka Yuuya. Then, scene grayed out and broken to pieces like shattering glasses.

The next part will include the sad parts of the series.

"Beware that the light is fading" N-Daguva-Zeba burns people.

"Beware as the dark return" Shadow Moon appears.

Next verse will have montages of all the Showa era villains (mostly the commanders) that ends with the shining Shocker emblem

"Legends scatter" EVERY SINGLE 15 SHOWA RIDERS FROM J TO THE DOUBLE RIDERS POSING

Then the scenes changes into their humans, transforming one by one.

Then the solos starts, the Showa Riders kick ass, ends with J doing his Jumbo Rider Kick.

Afterwards, Ultimate Kuuga punching Daguva, one by one all the Ultimate forms of the Riders appears with voiceovers of Riders from both eras saying something. Ending with Hongo's "Kamen Rider will never die!"

Then, few select clips from Heisei vs Showa.

Finally, when "In time..." starts, the scenes where all the Heisei Riders Rider Kicks Amadum from the Wizard special shows, and "Victory is in a simple soul!" ends with Drive posing.

Alright. I just watched episode 12.

I believe they are showing parts of the Movie in the Opening theme. I wait until just before the episode where Terui appears then watch the movie. It'll be interesting.

With a few exceptions, I rarely sit down to watch the movies. I've never watched all of All Riders Vs Dai-Shocker, just the parts where Tsukasa decides to wreck their shit, and then the Riders and Dai Shocker have that huge battle.

I only ever watch the Kabuto Movie from the point where (spoilers. Don't read this Eva) Kagami and Tendou Storm the Castle. And I've never watched either of Fourze, Wizard or Gaim's movies (though I have seen bits and pieces of the Wizard Gaim Movie, mostly the last bits in the Sengoku world).

I've seen Episode final and as of recently Paradise Lost in full, but that's about it.

Well, weather you want to or not, all of Doubles films have a direct impact on the series's plot. The Kamen Rider W film A-Z/Gaia Memories of fate actually has payoffs that appear in the final episodes of the show.
