AHHHHHHHHHHHH
Alt account of Angeldog 2437.Ugh, I've had the craziest day. Long story short, I'm going back to college two days later than I intended because my school has no power and they want as few kids on campus as possible. :/
So, how are all of you?
someday we will foresee obstacles@Serenitas I'm fine thank you very much. I see that you're not so great.
WRP Gs have more exploration and realistic looking people.
WRPG's have sucky combat, boring customization, and waaaaaaay too much sorting through dialogue trees, I've found.
Welcome to th:|I'm actually at... well, college, already with a small essay to work on (should probably be doing that right now, instead of being here).

(´・ω・`)ohai gaiz, i r knu hear
"Life is something that is cheap. Especially my life."I wonder if there's a game that uses the DS's touch screen for action-type combat. Like, you could tap to do a basic attack, do a horizontal slide for a thrust, vertical slide for an uppercut, circle for a spin attack, etc. That could be kinds cool...
Welcome to th:|The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, and its sequel, The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks?
Alt account of Angeldog 2437.Does Days not use the touchscreen?
"Life is something that is cheap. Especially my life."Only for the camera, if I recall.
(´・ω・`)I've played the Zelda games for the DS, but they're still not really action-oriented, and are more focused on puzzles, like nearly every Zelda game. I was thinking like something in the style of Chain of Memories, but instead of using buttons it would solely use the D-pad, the stylus, and maybe the L button.
Welcome to th:|Y'know what'd be cool, was if there were a feature to randomly select an avatar from the Troper's gallery to be used for each post. Like on Metroid 2002's forum. Then I could upload my entire gallery of Fluttershy avatars for use here.
(´・ω・`)@Berc Wut ? Different WRP Gs have different gameplay mechanics, not all of them have dialogue trees and there's usually way more customization in a WRPG than a JRPG.

How does one play RP Gs without blowing up?
"Life is something that is cheap. Especially my life."Play good ones?
Alt account of Angeldog 2437.Uh, don't blow up, I guess I grew up on Pokemon and don't really have problems with turn based RPGS, so I'm not the best person to ask.
Oh yeah. Play The World Ends With You! It also could count as one of the games Beorc was asking about with a different kind of action for each stylus movement.
My question is, how does one play a platformer without exploding? I hate falling off ledges. Hate. Hate. Hate. D<
FABRICATI DIEM, PVNC.WRPG's seem to tend to have customization in things like stat dumping and character appearance, though, which I just find boring. I prefer things like the Materia system or the Job System. And could you explain a few WRPG battle systems? I know KOTOR's sucked and some others I can think of seem more like shooters with RPG elements.
Yeah, The World Ends With You is the closest to what I was talking about, but my idea is still kind of different...

Welcome to th:|Platformers are so rage-inducing for me. I played a lot of them when I was younger (the PS1-era ones like Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, and Ape Escape, and then the first Jak & Daxter game on the PS2 and was really terrible at them so I think most of the time I stuck to running around the areas that I wasn't bad at.
someday we will foresee obstaclesYou wrote a line that could have around ten or twenty different meanings on it's own, without further information as to what you meant by it.
You are suprised that people didn't get it, why?
Well, in the Call of Duty infested warring nation that is the west, RPG has a different meaning.
"Life is something that is cheap. Especially my life."@Cooke Don't play Super Mario Sunshine!
@Beorc It sounds like you're mostly thinking of Bioware games
