I think they meant Fans in general, not just fans on this site. When I see it brought up in other places, it sounds more like 'They Changed It Now It Sucks' rather than 'The New Voice Acting is Inferior because of..."
I mean, from what I'd gathered, THQ was a sinking ship well before Del Toro came along.
And the first time someone like Jim Sterling pointed out Konami being weird was ages ago.
So, Twin Perfect made another SH-related video, this time on the literary inspirations and influences. Saw it twice, still impressed.
To not be accused of "advertising", I won't post the link.
Let's Play episode and podcast with Jeremy Blaustein!
Apparently James copped a feel.
Um guys?
Are we sure that "Black Hound" thing from a while ago was bogus?
Because I took a look at it out of pure curiosity and saw this:
Hello, 73.179.67.150.
204863
And Googling 204863 showed it was the Arc Number thing from P.T....
Isn't that...spooky?
...I mean, Joakim Mogren and the rest of Moby Sick studios did claim not to be affiliated with Metal Gear.
So.
...Man, I have no idea what Kojima would or wouldn't do.
...Right?
The guy's an enigma.
Was Alfred Hitchcock ever this cryptic? I keep wanting to say Kojima is the Hitchcock of video games, but I don't know just how accurate is that...
I mean, Kojima seems to be all about the retakes, so I might make a comparison to Kubrick.
Um...retakes?
I kinda thought Kojima and Hitchcock worked as a comparison because:
A) If my understanding's correct, both men don't give away the full details of their stories.
B) Several, if not all, of their titles have plot twists...
C) They made cameos in their works, Hitchcock in pretty much everything he's done and Kojima in missions in Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain. (Did he make a cameo in Peace Walker?)
But Kojima compared to Kubrick? I don't know...
Bump!
Ok, I went back to ingsoc.org to see if there was anything I missed.
When I touched 204863 I found this chat room thing.
There's some creepy stuff happening, dudes!
Who's John Cena?
EDIT: and now there's someone saying he's Kojima. I don't know what to think guys!

Bump again!
Ok, for some reason I keep getting kicked out.
Place was giving me the creeps anyway...
John Cena is a wrestler, and the WWE's cash cow, and it's become a meme since I think this year's Wrestlemania for him to be revealed instead of the person or character you were expecting as a shocking twist.
And Hitchcock was plenty weird. He went out and purchased as many copies of the original Psycho novel as he could find so that people wouldn't be able to read it before seeing the movie.
You don't need to keep bumping.
...In fact, I think the mods prefer it if you don't?
Doubleposting is acceptable if your connection messes up or a glitch happens, or if it's been, like, a month and you have news, or an update for whatever the thread is about, but.
And apparently Kojima changed a line in the script for 4 right before release, and they had to re-record and put the line in the game, (which, mind, at that stage, might have introduced a new glitch that they might have had to bug test for) and the composers for the series end up having to make a lot of songs, only some of which get used.
Also, for a while now the games have had a lot of motion capture and, for V, face capture. Which Kojima actually did direct, and may have involved a few redos to get it right.
Apparently some of Kiefer Sutherland's lines he recorded didn't actually get used.
Which is vaguely similar to the way Kubrick reportedly did 127 takes for a scene until they got it right.

@Targetmaster Joe (post 262): Yes, Kojima made a cameo in Peace Walker as an unlockable character. In the cutscene where Snake is looking in the garage for the truck carrying nukes, one of the dummy trucks has him in it. If you find him, he instantly gets extracted to Mother Base.
Sorr for the triple posting, you guys.
Also, thank you.
But really, that chat room was really wigging me out.
Did anyone else see it?
I'm not seeing a chat room.
Do you see some log in thing that has "Comrade*******" on the nickname part?
Click the thing that says "Start" and you should find the chat room.
No. I did not see that.
Still don't.

Really?
What do you see?
Like, it looks like a close-up of a sweater or something.
Or, like. A blurry texture.
????
Are we talking about the same webpage?
I've been going to ingsoc.org and clicking where it says 204863.
But I don't see any sweater or whatever...
This, right?
I'm not seeing a chat.
I'm seeing, like. A grainy garage door? Sorta concrete?
There's a "Type /nick <name> to change your name." thing in red letters at the bottom, which seems related to a chat, but.
I'm not actually seeing a chat.
Have you read the thread? I've seen several explanations offered already.
