To me, "Stop looking at my breasts, it's so embarrassing!" and "Look at my huge boobs! I'm so hot!" are completely different and having them share the same page is not a good idea.

They aren't completely different. They are just very different along a single dimension, but in other ways they are very similar. It is a spectrum, like a sliding scale or a sorting algorithm. Red may be very different from green, but they are both colors. The types of Big Breasts Big Deal have much more in common than they have differences.

Good points above on Big Breasts Big Deal, but we need to get a consensus on the trope in question, which is Buxom Is Better. Are we all in agreement that the last write-up a posted should replace what we have right now? If so I'll put it in there and also clean up the examples so they aren't under "subversion, inversion, exaggeration" and that other nonsense.

Big Breasts Big Deal is not the trope in question. If you want to talk about it, make a separate thread. Thank you.

[up]Right. Can I make the changes to Buxom Is Better, or do we need a crowner or something?

It seems to me to be a pretty small change and no one is disputing that it is a good thing. It can always be changed back if it somehow turns out not to be an improvement. It's not like we were changing the name of the page.

Ok, changed the description. Tomorrow I'll get to work on condensing all the examples into one list, adding notes about subversions, etc as necessary.

Honestly, looking examples under exaggeration, most of them are really exaggerations of this trope and not played straight.

Some of them, yes, but I don't see why the examples need to be limited to non-straight examples. There's no reason why the examples should be split up based on being subversions, inversions, etc, any more than any other trope page. Originally it was included in the description that Buxom Is Better is an omnipresent trope, but I think we've established a consensus that it isn't. One of my edits was removing the "omnipresent" tag and the limit to non-straight examples.

[up] I agree but I think we need a lot of actual straight examples for the page.

Absolutely. I'll be working on fixing that dearth later on today when I get home from work.

Place a notice at the top of the examples page requesting Wiki Magic assistance for straight examples, and also putting the article on the Needs Wiki Magic Love page?

I've consolidated all the examples into one list. I'll be adding new straight examples for the next few days. Can we close this so more threads can be created?
