Oooh, Aquarion. I loved the original series. Might as well check this one out.
Watch SymphogearOooh, same thought here.
Until Star Driver it was probably the most blatant Freud Was Right ever.
"No, the Singularity will not happen. Computation is hard." -Happy EntInteresting.
Fight smart, not fair.A new slightly different trailer
So it's a sequel? I wonder if I can find the first one then. Though I probably won't bother in the end.

Aww, no ear-wormy intro.
"No, the Singularity will not happen. Computation is hard." -Happy EntDAT MECHA SEX!
It's Aquarion, what did you expect? It's kind of the signature of the franchise :p
"No, the Singularity will not happen. Computation is hard." -Happy EntThey really made it obvious this time around too.
Also that funeral wedding vision was creepy.
Which subs would you all recommend? Or are there official ones (that aren't Crunchyroll)?
I think gg are the only ones.
Okay, is the attacker whatshisname the main character from the first series?
"No, the Singularity will not happen. Computation is hard." -Happy EntApollo? No.
I guess that their resemblance is more than likely gonna be adressed though....
Him being a reincarnation of Apollo would be too obvious if you ask me.
I missed this.
Seriously, it was just what I needed this season: Symbolic mecha-sex.
"No, the Singularity will not happen. Computation is hard." -Happy EntI can never get enough Aquarion. The music is still awesome, and the moves still have ridiculous sounding names ("flying love attack", really ?). Exactly what I expected, exactly what I enjoyed in Genesis of Aquarion.
I saw the eps and they were quite nice. Pretty animation, an interesting enough story premise with likable characters, some familiar motifs with enough twists to make things different this time around, and of course the music. I grinned when I heard the score quote bits from the previous series's score (as well as cute dialogue references to the revered status of the first series' first opening song). I liked the placement of the new theme song, and it's nice to hear Yoko Kanno and AKINO collaborate on that one again. I wonder how much the series will end up quoting music from the previous one, but I certainly won't mind as long as it helps set the mood and link the two series' storylines musically. I look forward to watching future eps; this series has potential to be as enjoyable as the previous series.
Aquarion EVOL = Aquarion LOVE
...I'm supposed to be decent at wordplay, and yet I never noticed it until you pointed it out. *facepalm*
Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation. There was only one thing I could think of while watching this show: holy crap everything is AWESOME.
I'm probably gonna watch the first Aquarion after this.
Aquarion was awesome incarnate.
I am watching this show right now.
BEST COMBINATION SEQUENCE EVER. I Squeed so hard.
also, imma say this now.
My personal theory on Kagura is I'm betting Apollyon split into two souls just like his love did. Amata got half, Kagura got half. Kagura will probably join the good guys eventually. or die and be reabsorbed into amata. Also, hoping the girl piloting a third of aquarion is a reincarnation of sylvia and so is purple hair girl. Alternate theory. given how they all resemble aquarion cast members..maybe the enemy cloned the original casts's genotypes >.>

What we know of the plot so far:
