There's a plotline to this?
And, naturally, I wonder who'se being brought back. Aside from good ol' Ivan, of course.
Don't take life too seriously. It's only a temporary situation.A much as I like that Jagged Alliance gets some deserved love, I have a nitpick:
Considering A.I.M's policies regarding employment in JA2 and the somewhat hero-for-hire reputation it got after JA1 and Deadly Games, the mercs wouldn't have been allowed to do such a vague job in the beginning of the trailer.
Unless they left AIM and joined the no-question-asked agency or became freelancers.

Yeah. That, or they got ambushed by another party. Still would fit in with the revenge theme.
I just hope they have some V 1.13-ish features, but seems unlikely. Ah, well.

This.
Thread necro, since I recently found out that it's up and running.
Has anyone given it a shot yet? Free-to-play has never really instilled me with confidence, but Iron Grip: Marauders was passable (and nowhere near as bad as I was expecting).
Haven't tried it myself
Might give it a shot at some point and report my findings then!
That'd be nice for us lazy people
I've played a bit of this, actually.
Generally seems to be JA2 v1.13 with updated graphics (yay!), simplifications which range from actually rather nice to making all semi-automatic pistols, including the Desert Eagle, take 9mm bullets (boo!), and the sort of evil progression and difficulty curve you can only get out of a free-to-play game (notably, there's no gold currency, just certain things such as medkits and upgraded guns which you need but are really expensive. Buy 50,000 units of in-game cash for only $5.00 today!)
The troper formerly known as Eriksson.Interesting, but I've read a bit more about it and am not overly enthused any more.
Have thrown my hat in the ring with Jagged Alliance: Flashback though.
Free-to-play browser-based MMO-tactical RPG.
