So 16 ambassadors are meeting today in Lima to talk about the Venezuelan sanctions.

So the guys of Popular Will confirmed they will go to the elections so far. It seems odd considering that MCM and Ledezma won't go. Meh, they could be playing 4D chess but I don't know I don't feel like speculating, I just want this thing to end.

Also good speech from MCM, man she really gets me hyped! Well, even if I'm not sure of how things are going to turn out the PSUV's support in both the citizenship and the military can only continue to go down from now on!

So, Vente Venezuela is saying it will seperate itself from the MUD. Well, it will be interesting to see how things turn out in the next few months since they run the risk of retaliation from both the government and the opposition. I hope they stay safe.

I also liked, how they talked about the MUD'S plans. Man, the MCM has made a lot of mistakes before so the fact she is the only one I see who is making sense makes me anxious and excited at the same time. I pray everything turns out ok in the end.

I'm surprised nobody has bumped this over Trump's comments about a military intervention.

Also, Capt. Caguaripano and an aidee have been arrested.

Diosdado said he would order the murder of Marco Rubio. You know the usual.

Speaking of that, the solar eclipse that is coming reminds me a lot of the one before the 98 elections, I know it sounds silly but I'm pretty sure It's a bad omen so stay safe everyone. I'm sure we will get rid of the reds somehow.

Rubio's a far-right rat bastard, but his criticisms of Cuba and Venezuela come from a reasonable place, and the last thing we want is for him to become a martyr for the reactionaries.

I hate defending the PSUV but... isn't that a bit hard to believe?

I mean, Godgiven is more than capable of doing that to literally anybody else in Venezuela, but conspiring against the life of a major US politician sounds like such a bad idea even he must be aware.

So the GNB took control of the Bolivarian museum of the congress in order to place... Huh, I don't know another constituent installation thing.

As a side note, I'm not exactly a fan of Bolivar since I think Miranda deserves a lot more credit than him, but I still dislike how the reds and other Venezuelan governments have abused his myth. If I ever make it to the top I'll make sure to give Miranda and Paez more credit.

Speaking from the United States, those of you hoping for a CIA backed military coup or outright armed intervention by the United States really ought to be careful what you wish for, especially given how much regional tensions would be escalated by the US military or intelligence agencies operating in the region.

While it theoretically wouldn't be acceptable to overtly install a right wing dictator like Pinochet these days, considering there's still a fair amount of animosity among the Venezuelan population towards the United States, were the military to stage a coup and drag their feet on transitioning back to civilian governance, there'd at best be empty platitudes and toothless criticism coming from Washington as long as the "provisional" government is happy to play ball, which is basically what happened after the coup against Chavez happened.

This goes doubly so given the current resident of the White House, who happens to be a massive fanboy of Nixon, Kissinger, and others politicians from the era where US dickery in South America reached its apex.

[up]that is not the issue, the issue is that venezuela is as left if posible for the united states, even more than is former enemies, russia(who now are just plutocrafts) that murk things a little bit, specially consider Venezuela did the whole "fuck you and I dont care" to US waaaaaaay before trump show up.

In short, this is pretty much rightiest trump vs Lefty trump.

ohhhhhhh boy.

[awesome]Diosdado lost the lawsuit against the Wall Street Journal for being called a narco leader!

Also in Amazonas, I heard there was an incident in Puerto Ayacucho where 30 prisoners were killed? there are also many GNB wounded. God, what the hell happened there?!

About the recent elections, the MUD seems to have a lot of in group fighting on what to do I liked this read from Lester Toledo. It's weird finding people who bother to build a regional leadership like this, I liked a lot of his points It's a shame we aren't allowed to properly decide our own leaders.

Personally I wasn't even going to bother going, I think the best strategy the opposition can do is to continue building street pressure to make the military do something, but I'll still give a vengeance vote against Arias Cardenas. The economic crisis will get worse in the next few months so I pray everything works out in the end. Stay safe everyone.

Edit: Good talk of HRA. He answers many questions about the MUD'S plans so watch it all.

Due to the reds wanting to take over the powers of the congress (again) the people who got together in Lima are pushing for the OAS to activate the democratic letter.

Personally, I can't believe how long it takes for the international community to work. Even after 130 days of protests and several dead it will still take more time. I do think Venezuelans that want international pressure or even military international intervention do have a point in saying that the community needs to keep things peacefully for the rest of Latin America. But seriously, I think even if Maduro used war guns against the population like Carlos Andres back in the late 80's the international community would still take a lot of time to take action. That Venezuelan actitude, at times, really makes me angry.

You're fighting a country with all of their powers with bureaucracy, what did you expect?

To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back.
