First, I'll start with the different kind of beings that inhabit my world.

Humans:Basically similar to us in morphology, anatomy and physiology (I'm not sure if some of those words are redundant, or if I covered all areas of similarity), with one key difference - They have special abilities. There are basically two kinds of Humans:

  • Sorcerers: They produce Mana, a special kind of Life Energy, when in the presence of free chi. To use their power, they must either say some specific words (called a chant) or draw and be in contact with a specific circular pattern (called a rune). When this is done, depending on the spell, some amount of the Sorcerer's Mana is spent and a spell is cast. There a large variety of spells, ranging from the basic fireball spell to growing trees to triggering explosions. Sorcerers themselves are divided into three sub-classes:
    • Wielders: At the beginning of his training, a Wielder is given one weapon, which will cast a spell when the Wielder pumps Mana into it. No need for chants and runes. (though how the weapons are made to do that is still a mystery to me, but the idea must be an extension of rune magic, since they work similarly. Any suggestions?). They're kind of like Magic Knights. The Hero of my story is in this sub-class (though his weapon is an Enchanted weapon, which is different from Sorceric weapon - I'll explain more if anyone wants me to).
    • Chanters: Not much need for explanation here. Basic Squishy Wizard.
    • Brewers: Guys who make potions. There is no need for chanting, drawing runes or even spending Mana to use potions, since those steps are basically taken care of when the potions are made. This makes it possible for potions to be used by any Human. Brewers generally don't go into combat, instead they make selling potions as their business.
  • There are different combinations of these sub-classes the highest order of which is the Oracle-class (all three sub-classes).
  • Kind 2: (yeah, i need a help with naming) They produce Flux, another kind of Life Energy. I've explained about it here:
Due to events in the past, both sides are pretty antagonistic towards each other (at least, the people who know what happened, namely, all sorcerers and a large number of kind 2). I will explain why in the history of the world.

Abominations/Demons

Chimeras

Ancients

Ghosts

There are also certain (seemingly) extinct races:

Guardians

Elementals/Dragons

This article hasn't been finished, but it will be in a few more hours.
