No confirmed sexual orientation or those that go for a long period of time with no confirmed sexual orientation. i.e. a substantial part of a work. If they're given a sexuality right off the bat it's not this trope.

@Zeta Unless Word of God says someone is straight, sexuality can be interpreted in many ways. Not every gay guy falls under the stereotypes or has a male love interest. That's what Have I Mentioned Im A Heterosexual Today is all about, or bisexuals, etc. It's problematic to assume everyone is straight be default. :/

(Not to mention, it can be argued that Raphael cherishes Amy like a daughter, not a love interest.)

There are women on the internets, yes.

[up] this is more about assumptions of gay-ness based on stereotypical traits, when no sexuality is given or shown at least at first. We kinda worked this out already.

First off, assuming Heterosexualitu unless it's otherwise stated is the point of heteronormativity, so most creators will have their unstated characters be straight. Secondly, isn't this an in universe trope?
