Well, for one, there seems to be a lot of stuff about mixing Greek and Latin, which I think is probably a similar but slightly different trope.

The trope defined is basically "Fake Latin used to sound smart, funny, etc" with the general idea being that what is used is incorrect or otherwise just not actually real Latin. The examples have been creeping into territory of "It's not real Latin because the Romans would not have said that."
Looks like it needs a rewrite or a deep cleaning. Maybe both.
