?
Why not grab a screenshot from Portal and 2D Portal to show the difference.

Fight smart, not fair.I'm wondering if a good image would be two comparison images. One showing the normal game, the other showing the demake, and the caption saying "Guess which came first?"
Don't take life too seriously. It's only a temporary situation.I think it would be better to go with names and dates. Something like *Top: Game X, 2002
- Bottom: Game Y, 2010
I'd prefer something like this◊ for the top.
Fight smart, not fair.Heh, I kinda like that.
For the record, that's an actual game. Just search "2D Portal". A bitch to play with a touchpad though. I'm curious if we can spike their inbounds.
Fight smart, not fair.Mine's also an actual game. And it actually runs on a Game Boy Advance too.

Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's Play... What's with the weird hat for the GBA Portal?
Also a comparison image seems necessary, as to avoid Fan Myopia.
I'm pretty sure the concept of Law having limits was a translation error. -Wanderlustwarrior@Trigger Loaded: I like you idea for the image caption!
Personally, I'd put an image comparison of Halo / Halo 2600, Team Fortress 2 / Gang Garrison 2, or Portal with the image posted by Deboss (it's from the 2D Portal that's also listed in the page).
@storyveller: I'll get a GBA emu later to try your demake and add it to the page.
^^ It has a different character because it started out as in IWBTG fangame.
^ It's more like a demo since only one testchamber is finished. That's why I haven't added it to the page already.

Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayI like the Deboss' idea, because it has a blue portal and an orange portal; it is more easily identifiable as Portals. Also, I've actually played portals2D
It may be added to the Projects folder of the page if you want.
Bump.
First key to interpreting a work: Things mean things.Portal image is good enough, I only think demake image must be placed at the bottom.

DO NOT PURSUE LU BUI don't think Pickory (the guy with the hat) counts as a demake of Portal.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight! If that counts for the trope, then I like it.
That's good. Possibly contrast it with a screenshot from the Wii version.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!Good idea.
Would a screenshot from luminesweeper, a GBA demake of Lumines for PSP, count?
Not really, because it looks like a graphical upgrade to Mine Sweeper (which, technically, it also is).
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!Since the stage in that demake image is based on a map from the N64 vesion, I went ahead and made a screenshot as similar as possible, then put the two togheter. Here's the result:
"We are not a stuffy encyclopedic wiki. We're a buttload more informal".
Winner right there.
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!
I noticed that this article doesn't have an image. Here's one I made for Portal on the Game Boy Advance. I was wondering if you think this would be acceptable as page image. [1]◊
