Nope, it's just the kind of thing this show could and would do, ridiculous most other shows, but they could make it work.

I especially love how savagely this series mocks stupid, ignorant people. Sometimes I feel really disappointed by the world I live in. It helps to take it with humour.

I thought that the Freedom Riders were made up by the show. I was surprised to learn they were real.
