And here's the full "La seine" number
Looks adorable, too bad they toned down the concept art :( [1]◊ He's an enlarged flea apparently. Yay!
bogleech.com for my writing, comics and cartoons.I just found this yesterday. Been listening to La Siene all day. It looks really great and I heard it might get an international release! I hope they don't ruin the song.
That looks great! I can't wait to see it. Hope it gets an American release.
"Religion isn't the cause of wars, it's the excuse." —Mycroft NextLooks awesome! I'm studying French, so I may end up tracking down the original before I see it in English. May.*

Looking for some stories?Already researched it like crazy and I'm really excited. Also really happy that -M- is voicing the monster, it should certainly be interesting.
I am ridiculously stoked for this movie. I'll have a hard time not watching it in French, though, since, well... French is sexy. So what if I can't understand it. That's what subtitles are for.
i. hear. a. sound.Luc Besson produced it. That should definitely mean an American release (he currently has a deal with Tri Star but he also distributes with Fox and Lionsgate).
More Buscemi at http://forum.reelsociety.com/Trailer for the English dub
That was no where near as enchanting as the French trailer.
i. hear. a. sound.Yeah, I'm definitely watching this in French. My big gripe is the voice for Raoul. I've gotten the impression from reading about the movie that he's supposed to be this over-the-top Cloudcuckoolander, and the English dub goes and gives him a monotone. Come to think of it, the only good VA was Lucille, and that one's done by the original actress, IIRC. And where are the French accents???

Is this gonna be a musical? If so, I just became a little more obsessed with it.

Looking for some stories?Just watched this the other night loved it!
The monster is so cute and its not a beauty and beast tale but it does have two romances develop over the course of the film as for Raoul being cloudcukoolander i think most of the characters have cloudcuckoolander tendancies but its the wannabee mayor who really wins the medal for that catagory. Of course i watched the english version will have to check whether the dvd has the french language option.
And yes there are a couple songs but mostly when Lucille is onstage.

Found it online a while back too. Good but not really amazing. Music's definitely the strongest point of the film. Would be great if we got a legit American release though.
New CG movie from France. Basically a Beauty and the Beast story, but with a giant bug in a zoot suit that's an awesome guitar player.
