Cosplay? In character? Replaying... the Triforce of the Gods? They knew him?
The Hylian blinked at the older of the pink-haired maids' strange words, his surprise showing on his face. There was a moment of stunned silence.
"Umm... Pleased to meet you too, Miss Hisui, Miss Kohaku," he finally said, hesitantly bowing in his turn.
He watched in bafflement as Hisui walked off with Nanoha and Kohaku turned to Gunner, before turning aside and shaking his head in wonder, somehow failing to notice the hostile robot being smashed into a million pieces just a few feet away.
Strange...
After a long period of silence, he decided that he would take his mind off the incident for the moment. He could easily find answers later. Walking to the window, he looked outside, watching the endless meadow stretch out and blur into the horizon...
Not long afterwards, he caught sight of the small forms of a certain pastel yellow pony and a bowler-hatted detective. The others... they're back. Relieved, he turned and ran out of the room, aiming to get to them as soon as possible.
Shotaro and Fluttershy would see Link running towards them. "Hello," he called. "How are you?"

Mehir stumbled past Grievous, then leaned on the wall of a nearby building. He shook his head. "At least you don't have to live with the memories, Rey; some god was merciful to you. Me? No such luck. I remember." He shook his head again. "I have done great evil in that world..."

Rey hesitated, blinking a moment at Greivous, glancing between him and Shotaro, a rather puzzled look on his face. "Wait...I...I...did what? No, that...that couldn't have happened. I would be able to remember if that happened..."
Easing back into life one step at a time
"I'm sorry, but that's what happened. Search your feelings. You know them to be true." Shotaro said. Then messages his forehead. "That cliche? What was I thinking?" He said.
Grievous stared at the masked man.
“You were not actually present. A doppelganger of you led the Drowning Doom. A much more impulsive version of you. Had no patience or understanding of conflict. You based most of your ideas I believe on previous knowledge of you had of the area. I pulled your body from the sea to disrupt the Drowning Doom's control.” He shot a look at Mehir,
“His imagination might make it worse actually.”

Mehir looked at Grievous. "Perhaps, perhaps not." He shrugged. "Still, these are terrifying memories to live with... and I've had enough nightmares already. Seeing my friends dismembered by bloodthirsty DharmaRhamis again. Or worse..." He shook his head.

Rey blinked a time or two, then shook his head, holding up a hand and frowning a bit. "No, no...that's not how that works. I would be able to remember that. It happened once to Ophelia and I'm pretty sure she remembered it. So if that happened to me, I would be able to remember it. That couldn't have happened. What was it really?"

"You turned Fluttershy and the Doctor, as well as other people into cruel and rude people. I wasn't with you because I was too busy being possessed by some sort of computer program and under Doviculus' command. Long story." Shotaro said.

"Yes, that's actually what happened," Fluttershy said to Rey. "I actually saw Mr. Grievous holding onto your body before Mr. Eddie killed that awful clone of you. But, quite honestly, I think it would have better if you didn't remember what that clone did."

Rey glanced between the others a bit, furrowing his brow slightly. He lowered his gaze a moment, appearing to be thinking...then abruptly turned, shaking his head and walking off, rubbing his temple slightly.

Link frowned slightly, before looking at Shotaro and Fluttershy. Then he turned back and looked after Rey's departing form.
"..."
Without a word, he began running after the wrestler, soon slowing to a walk as he came to the older man's side.
"Are you okay, Rey?" The question was heartfelt, with no condemnation behind it.

"Uh..." Rey looked up at Link, staring at him a moment before seeming to shake himself. "Yeah, yeah...um...yeah...fine...um...listen...I'm going to go over here for a little while, I need...I need to think, please. I'll...I'll be okay, thanks." With that, he hurried off, quickly disappearing behind one of the many buildings in the area.

Easing back into life one step at a time
Staring after the luchador for a while with a worried look on his face, Link made as if to follow for a moment, taking a step forwards and holding out his hand as if to grab his retreating image - then he seemed to decide against it.
If he wants to be alone... I guess I can give him that, at least, he thought reluctantly. His hand dropped to his side.
Why did he care so much about someone he had just met? Was it because of a sense of obligation to one of the Legendary Hero's allies? Was it because of a feeling of misplaced trust?
No...
Even as he slowly turned aside and began walking back to where Shotaro, Fluttershy and Jack stood, contemplating the questions in his mind, Link felt a strange new sense of resolve enter him as words from the past spoke to his subconscious.
" Zelda...Your words are kind, and your heart is true. If all in Hyrule are like you...then maybe you'll do alright."
That was it. Midna had seen a self-sacrificing kindness in Princess Zelda. They both had. He would follow that.
He would help Rey Mysterio, and he would be there for him... because it was the right thing to do.

Earlier:
Antroz found himself suddenly jolted by what seemed an immense amount of electricity.
Numbness began to creep through his body and it was now that he found that he was....melting.
"Well thats......shocking.....".
Soon the Antroz brought forth by the drowning doom was nothing more thatn a black puddle on the ground, hissing and writhing as if in regret to all the slaughter it had missed out on.
Then the statue appeared and issued forth its statement and as it finished a body heaved underwater......
Now:
There was one last entry the portal delivered: Antroz.
Out came the Makuta, uncerimoniously spat out to land in a dead faceplant on the ground.
Curses...
An arm twitched, moved and made as if the haul the body nto a better position but this was too much and so the Makuta sank into unconsciousness with a curse unuttered.
The Tick happened to hear the knockage on the door and proceeded to it (presuming he was inside).
Nefarious would find the door opened by a very familiar body structure, only in a completely different costume, and a slightly different voice that said "Did someone knock? Is it Halloween already?"

Nefarious had waited impatiently for whatever dunderheads were in the castle to open the door. However, the person on the other end of the door was horrifyingly familiar.
An infeasibly large torso, a costume covering the entirety of his body, a giant chin, the condescending tone... this could only be one man!*
The resulting scream of rage could be heard from the other side of the city.
"QWWWWWWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-"
Then, the gears in Nefarious's head jammed again, forcing him to stand ramrod straight, with his jaw hanging open like a complete simpleton. A strange radio broadcast began to play...

Multiple tears in the fabric of reality appeared. Many of them were situated by groups of champions, and they were pulling with so much force that it was impossible to resist being pulled through them.
Nanoha was sleeping so soundly that she didn't even notice getting sucked through.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."

Byakuren, light sleeper that she was, was woken by the sucking of the portal but didn't have much chance to react before being drawn through. Is this what a drink drunk through a straw feels like?

Hisui bid Cletus farewell and went off to find her sister again. Eventually, she ran into Kohaku, just as the Chinese girl she'd been talking to left.
"Oh, hey Hisui-chan~!" Kohaku cheerfully greeted the younger twin. "Did Nano-chan get to sleep okay?"
"Yes, Nee-san," Hisui replied. "Takamachi-san is currently resting peacefu-"
At that very moment, the portals opened up, and the two were suddenly dragged off their feet. "N-nee-san! Wh-what's going on!?"
"Ah, um, there was something like this last time," Kohaku yelled as she frantically grabbed her broom before she was pulled too far away. "But it wasn't nearly as strong! Hold on, Hisui-chan!"
The two maids reached out and grasped each others' hand, trying to stay together as they were drawn in...

Mehir walked up to Nefarious, examining the robot. Tugging at his beard, he sniffed. Then the portals opened, and he was sucked into one of them. Gods, I hope this one isn't as bad as the last one... I really do...

The call of the challenge caught Jail right as he was finishing a batch of Cartridges - slim red crystals, quite different from the ones used by usual devices. He quickly guessed that it must be one of those challenges coming up. As the pull appeared and grew stronger he resisted it for just enough time to store the results of his work into his Device and then flew into the portal with open arms and a mad grin on his face.
Shotaro suddenly got sucked up. He looked and saw a portal. "Already?" Shotaro said as he got sucked into the portal. He felt something inside him change. He screamed in pain as parts of him were added and removed, however he still felt human. "What am I becoming?" Shotaro wondered.
"They'realright. Wewon. There'snothingelseyouneedtoknowabout." Shotaro said in a rapid motion. He began to sweat. "Damn it, Shotaro..." He muttered.
Then Greivus came in and talked to Rey about what happened. "... Yeah... You were absorbed by that water, and then you converted Fluttershy and the Doctor, as well as some other people, into your minions." Shotaro said to Rey.
