Really, I can somewhat excuse Children of Earth despite it having no recapping at all due to it being a miniseries, or the fact that it's not really a miniseries like Children of Earth is, but all ten episodes of this series have their own links.

I'll leave my thoughts of adding tropes to a recap page for another time, but this is not a recap page to begin, it's a normal works page with Recap links a namespace shoehorned in. Why it isn't classified as a work on Main.Torchwood Miracle Day or Series.Torchwood Miracle Day?

Miracle Day is the fourth season of Torchwood, and not a really a "show" in it's individual right.

Still, I wouldn't really have any objections making this a works page. This is one of the more muddy series in terms of whether it belongs in Recap or not.

Okay, so, this is weird. There should be a main Torchwood page and a Recap.Torchwood index sorted by season, and each episode should have its own separate Recap. We don't normally do recaps by season.

Rhymes with "Protracted."

It's a continuation of Torchwood, but I'd consider it enough of a revamp to have an identity of its own. Either way, I think either move to a works page, or cut it completely and transfer the tropes to Torchwood's main page or the individual episodes.

I don't actually watch the series (too scary for me, even if I do like the Whoniverse), but I believe that some of the weirdness has been caused by the 3rd and 4th series*

switching to mini-series as opposed to the more episodic first two. Interestingly, Wikipedia has articles on the third and fourth series, but not the first two.

What we've got to decide is this: Are the third and fourth series miniseries in their own right and deserve separate pages, or all they still just regular old series that should be put on Recap or even merged into Recap.Torchwood?

Children of Earth is a special example that probably needs its own sorting. Until fairly recently, the recap page was de jure for Day One (titled Torchwood S 3 E 1 Children Earth Day One) but de facto for all five days as there wasn't any pages established for Days Two to Five over a year after the airdate.

Miracle Day is 10 episodes over ten weeks rather than five episodes from Monday to Friday, so I wouldn't even call it a miniseries, just the fourth season. That said, due to the different tone and less-episodicness of Miracle Day (and possibly Children of Earth, too), I'd count it separately.

No real resolution. Is anyone opposed to me moving this to a Series/ namespace? All ten Miracle Day episodes are already on Recap.Torchwood anyway.

[up][up] It's not even a merger. Both Recap.Torchwood and Recap.Torchwood S 4 MS Miracle Day have the fourth series' episode list.

How would a recap page for the former work? Should we divide that into Days 1-5 for clarity?

Done for Miracle Day. Moving wicks and adding indexing now.
