Someone really needs to e-mail that suggestion to the ''Working Man Gamer''.

Start with something new so it seems legit. So do Strange Journey, or Devil Survivor 2 when it comes out.

(then again, that has DEVIL right in th title, so he may say to not even bother)

Taking a break from FE1, for the FE8 draft instead

Have they done Minecraft?

I let my four-year-old play it. Unsupervised. I am a bad parent.

I'll have to check the site out. I might be face-palming with you guys.

Okay I just sent an email asking him to review Darksiders 2 when it comes out. This will be entertaining.

[up]I know. And they don't have search function which compounds the irritating categories they have when I'm trying to find games.

Question: has he done anything wrong? Has he betrayed your expectations at all? What did you think you were gonna get out of a website called "Family Friendly Gaming"? Or do you guys just have nothing better to do than suggest overly-violent games to him in the hopes he explodes like a child?

Chances are his review will be just as calm and humble as all the others, while criticizing exactly what we know he'll criticize.

[up][up]Dude he's funny! Normally I'd dismiss him as another one of my Religion's unfortunate God freaks but his comments are actually funny and he at least tries to be fair.

I just want to see what he thinks of things like this.

[up]Yeah. How do you find them? Or did he review them but not upload the review.

Yeah, I think you all are forgetting that to the likes of, say, a five or six year old, a lot of these games would be scary violent. And hell, Rouge the bat is probably a really awkward thing to have to explain to your kids.

So, maybe lay off the guy? Aside from one or two little things, which are being blown out of proportion, this guy has done nothing to deserve getting harassed.

[up]He suggested that Ocarina of Time shouldn't be played until you're in the late teens.

That seems a bit excessive to me.

edit: Which games are we talking about? If it's anything with a rating higher than E then he shouldn't have to tell us these things. ESRB exists for a reason.

I think it's because he wants to tell parents why it's rated what it is.

Considering Ocarina of Time has a naturally uncanny and creepy atmosphere to it just about everywhere, that seems fine for me. Even the Great Deku Tree is pretty creepy looking, an Hyrule Field turns in a huge, creepy area of land with skeletons roaming around. Dodongo Caves is pretty eerie, too, and getting eaten by a whale isn't exactly pretty.

[up][up][up] Don't misunderstand me. I'm not saying that OOT should be the first game a child is allowed to play. However waiting until 15 or more is a tad extreme IMO. I was able to handle all that stuff by the time I was nine or ten, maybe even younger.
