Okay, so many of you here might've heard about Octodad, the student game made at DePaul University that was super popular a few months ago and won a bunch of awards and stuff. Well, now that the team has graduated school they've put together an indie studio to publish a sequel. It'll be a full-blown game, as opposed to the awesome yet understandably short student creation the first one was. I was in their graduating class and I'm friends with most of the team, so I wanna help them out a bit. Hence, this topic. They've created a Kickstarter page to help raise enough funds to make this a reality. So if you guys enjoy super awesome indie games featuring protagonists with floppy appendages, then help out! They've already made $11,000 in the two days the page has been active, which is CRAZY.

If support is overwhelming enough, we'd also like to do a console release using motion-control devices for added realism (hilarity) to the octopus/father simulation.
SQUEEEEEE. I asked them about that at PAX East!

If I had any money, I'd definitely give something...The first game is a hilarious half-hour diversion and if they can do for it, for instance, what Portal 2 did to the first Portal, then I am all for that.

The blind man walking off the cliff is not making a leap of faith.

Yeah, they're definitely aiming to making everything bigger and better. They're a pretty ambitious bunch!
