Huh, so I'm curious if they're going to sprite up any weapons other than the Upperdash Arm and Guardian Orbitars- I'd hope so, since things like the Palms and Clubs are cool.

How bad's the finisher?

Pretty tame, in all honesty. Lightbeam laser to the head, Pit falls to the ground making a mild blood splatter, wings gone. Not the cleanest death, but no head exploding or disintegration or body parts being blown off. Just a definitely dead angel.

Reasons for winning: Sora had the advantage in Speed, Strength and Durability. He was fast enough to dodge Cloud to ground lightning, Durable enough to take hits from Hercules while not holding back, and Strong enough to cut through multiple buildings at once. As well, basing it off him shooting the moon in about a second, the keyblade can shoot beams at FTL speeds.

At least he got off light on this one. Though it's probably not something the Rewind Spring's fixing any time soon...

Re:Verdict: I can already tell the beam thing isn't gonna sit well with people when the episode comes out. Though I don't disagree with the overall verdict, that said.

Re:Next Time: I'm interested to see what the verdict on this one's gonna be, as little as I know about Leon. I'm sure he's taken down bigger and badder than Frank, but Frank's also used to fighting trained military specialists- could be more even than it looks at first glance, even if Frank only enters the battlefield with his camera and clothes.

Blah blah blah, why you-know-who won: Pit's got the edge in mobility with flight and experience, but Sora's stronger, faster, and tougher. Pit may have dodged a laser from a space station moving 90 million mph, but Sora's dodged lightning when battling Ursula, which is much faster. Both can heal and have immunities to different status effects, but Pit hasn't shown a counter to time manipulation, which Sora can do. Plus Sora's attacks move faster. He shot the moon in a second, which makes his attack go way faster than light. Pit's massive weapon arsenal was matched by Sora's magic. In regards to strength, Sora cut through seven buildings at once (I'm sorry I don't know the fight), which is much stronger than anything Pit has done. Sora's taken hits from Disney Hercules, who has shown strength much higher than Pit's Hades.

So battle against a trained ex-police officer versus a guy who beats people up with everything not nailed down. And stuff what is nailed and taped to other stuff.

I wonder why they didn't use Chris Redfield instead of Leon Kennedy but I'm not complaining.

My best guess as to why they are using Leon instead of Chris, is because they have plans for Chris already.

If Batman, Shadow, and Deadpool can come back, so can Chris.

Now I want a battle with Jack Cayman so that we can use "NOBODY SAID THERE'D BE MATH!" as a proper response.

Man wouldn't it be great if the climax to Leon vs Frank was that Leon throws Frank into a pile of zombies and leaves him for dead, only for Zombie Frank to leap in and spit acid in his face to kill him?

So did Pit get the Great Sacred Treasure? Cause if not, the whole match's basically bullshit.

Fucking lol. Incidental my ass. They just knew that if Pit had it it'd be a fucking stomp in his favor. Whatever, guess the streak of good analyzed Death Battles had to end sometime.

Looking forward to the next fight though. I get the feeling Leon'll take it, but I don't know much about Frank's arsenal.

Frank's arsenal is pretty much anything that isn't nailed down.
