Shouldn't the epilogue still play?

If not, I'm going to guess it took you 8 or 9 turns...that seems to be standard for either route.

yeah, just savestate when the final turn counts roll, and record the ones you're missing.

I'll most likely do my liveblog of chapter 13 tonight, as well as play and possibly liveblog chapter 13x.

But I can tell you that in chapter 13 it took me 8 turns.

Finally did chapters 12 and 13. I finished 12 in 8 turns and 13 in 9 turns, and I will add the relevant Liveblog entries in a little bit.

I have given in to peer pressure tongue and created a liveblog: Are Marth and Roy in this?, the title of which is shamelessly ripped off of a Let's Play I read recently, but had the courtesy to link to in the intro.

It is updated up to and including Chapter 13x — The Peddler Merlinus. Chapters 14 and 15 will probably follow tomorrow, and I will be caught up.

I have also included some miscellaneous info such as the turncounts I put on the previous page and my characters' current stats.

This has all occurred because I do not want to go to bed. Perhaps I should do so now. Good night. cool

Updated mine for chapter 13. Going to play 13x before bed.

Finished 13x, but Lowen died right at the very end. I'm probably going to leave him dead, we just got to the point where I can choose who I want in the party. Kent will be joining pretty soon anyways (at the expense of Marcus).

BTW, did you guys know that on the preparations screen, if you go to the map you can look at shops and see what they sell, but not buy/sell with them? I didn't!

[up]No problem as far as I'm concerned, I feel like I need to slow down a bit myself...

[up][up]It's pretty useful not needing to send someone to a shop to see what they sell.

Updated with Chapter 13x. Going to play Chapter 14 now.

EDIT: I did the chapter...and then accidently erased the suspend data because I was going back (i forgot to check the turn count)

I'm kinda pissed now...

Finished up chapter 13x. I wish it ended early when you killed Puzon, like most timed chapters do. I would have been done by turn 4. I'm kinda sad face because Lowen got bad levels (hp + luck, then just luck), but since Rebecca and Hector got good levels, while Dorcas' were passable, I'm less saddened.

Umm... Can undrafted units use torches? I'll avoid doing it for 13x, since it's not really needed, but just asking.

I hope so because Matthew did in my file. I assumed that came under the heading of thieving duties, since sight range in fog of war is another of their major utilities and he can already steal, open doors, pick chests, and dig in the desert.

[up][up]I can't add them to the first post, but for now, here's a list:

Awgh. False Friends... Finished in one try, but it was a close thing. Dorcas came so close to dying so many times! There were about 5 different points where he could have been killed had it not been for a lucky dodge. At least the level ups here were pretty good, and Hector is turning into a whirling tempest of armor, axes, and doom.

Also, it took me 9 turns.

Hey, everyone. Just dropped by to say that I'm rather impressed with this project, and everyone with the dedication to go through with it is an admirable character. I'm utterly fascinated by your different blogs; how a single goal can be presented in such various, interesting formats. You guys are great, and I'll be sure to read your future updates.

...Also, if this turns out to be an extreme success, I'd like to RSVP for a Path of Radiance Draft. In both of the times I played it, I've only used one of the Laguz, and it would be as good of an excuse as any to try the others out...

[up] It's just... Most people don't have Po R, and the only games that aren't a pain to emulate are the GBA games. That being said, I'd like to do another draft of Blazing Sword, well actually a ROM hack that I find enjoyable. It's harder, but your base stats and growth rates are higher and everyone is viable.

Also, my emulator on my phone is gone, but my files are still there.

I've been meaning to do the write up for 13X, but I'm lazy.

Next Draft we do, I admit I'd like to try one for Sacred Stones, though a Po R one would be pretty fun, assuming we could find a way for everyone to join in.

That sounds nice; I just suggested PoR because the only computer I have access to...well, it takes a minute to load a ten-second Youtube clip. I'm not willing to put an emulator on this thing anytime soon, but I have a perfectly good copy of the game and a Wii sitting on a nearby shelf.

However, I'd be ready, willing and able to use my GBA cartridge for a Normal-difficulty (that's the only one, right?) Sacred Stones draft run. Though to keep things challenging, everyone would probably have to avoid all those Monster Hunts and the easy XP they give. And then there's the matter of choosing which volunteers follow Ephriam, and which follow Erika...meh; I'm sure we could all work it out.

On Sacred Stones: I played through recently not getting into any random battles or Tower of Valni/Lagdou Ruins until after the main story, so I know it's possible.

Actually, making Lagdou ruins part of the draft, after main story completion, could be interesting.

There's less characters, 33 I believe.

I'm not sure if Eirika's or Ephraim's route would take significantly more turns, so why not leave that up to the individual player? Part of their decision-making process in the draft—which route gets the characters you want first...

On Po R: I would like to play it someday, so a draft would be fun...except I have neither the game nor the console for it. Unless there's emulators for that?

Sacred Stones is a decent challenge, if you don't grind. Especially on Ephraim mode. A draft should be interesting.

A Po R Draft would be fantastic. Colour me interested smile The game is so easy, it should be drafted on Hard.

I personally can do any FE game up to and including Po R.

Also, I messed up on Chapter 14 AGAIN. Having so few combat people is really getting to me.

BTW, I never did make a rule for NPC's that join, like Erk. How have you guys handled him (assuming you didn't draft him)

What do you mean?

I just rescued him with Marcus, then dropped him off and had Serra talk to him, they never got near any fighting.

Also, I realized while writing up Chapter 14 that I had a rules violation with Matthew—visiting Priscilla's village so she could rescue him, so he wouldn't die. I'm happy with everything else that chapter, so I'll take the +4 turncount hit...

On that note, I should have Chapter 14 — False Friends up in a few minutes.

EDIT: Also also, were you going to add a list of blogs to the first post like Allan was asking about?
