She'll have a few uses left on her Rapier, assuming you use another weapon every so often in the first arc, though.
I sure said that!Well, yeah, but it's not effective against the enemies she'll be dealing with and has weapon triangle disadvantage against the wyverns and pegasi. Whereas the bottom of the map is full of Paladins and Nomads Rangers.
Aw, man, there goes the last Staff user. You're definitely doing this on purpose
Well, seeing as I never tried using any of the remaining units properly, this should be interesting...
I'll take Syrene (she joins around the same time as Myrrh and Knoll, but she flies, so that can't be bad) and Dozla (I don't have any axes, and it was time I one-upped Montago as well ).
I guess my team is done, then!
- Barrylocke: Tana, Artur, Garcia, Abel, err, I mean Kyle, Duessel
- Pulse: Amelia, Lute, Gerik, L'Arachel, Innes
- hnd 03: Natasha, Ross, Cormag, Neimi, Rennac
- montagohalcyon: Franz, Colm, Moulder, Marisa, Saleh
- Jonnas N: Forde, Vanessa, Joshua, Tethys, Dozla, Syrene
Characters left: Gilliam, Ewan, Knoll, Myrrh

I consider Syrene to be sort of like a promoted Est. Late game, not especially great bases but pretty good growths. The only characters with better RES growths are Artur, L'Arachel, Tethys, and Lyon and her Speed is not too bad either.

So. Let's all pause for a moment to smell what the Rock was, is, and forever will be... cooking.—Cave JohnsonI honestly hadn't even thought about Saleh being a staff user, I just wanted somebody to melt wyverns.
If you want to switch him and Dozla (if that's legal) I'd be okay with it.
Anyway, I thought about Knoll but I might as well continue this early game theme I have and Gatrie has increased my respect for his class, so Gilliam.
Only the sun has stopped.Myrrh.
So. Let's all pause for a moment to smell what the Rock was, is, and forever will be... cooking.—Cave JohnsonHey, what's done is done. The point of the draft is that we use teams we wouldn't use normally, and a staffless team is exactly that.
Now, I'll only start this some time later, but you already knew that, right? Shouldn't take long, either way.
You know that Ewan and Knoll would both get Staves eventually, right?
And it would probably be a good idea to promote Knoll almost immediately.
Heck, I'm probably doing that with Natasha since she doesn't have quite as much time as Priscilla to hit 20/0.

So. Let's all pause for a moment to smell what the Rock was, is, and forever will be... cooking.—Cave JohnsonA good staff user is either someone that comes with staves already, or someone who can promote to get them early. Ewan and Knoll come too late for that.
It's better to have one late than not at all, no?
Then I really hope you can take out Formortiis in one turn because most everyone is going to be hit with something savage at least once.
So. Let's all pause for a moment to smell what the Rock was, is, and forever will be... cooking.—Cave JohnsonFormortiis PUNCH!
I sure said that!Challenge accepted!
@Bad Wolf: A dedicated staff user doesn't simply heal. It can barrier, torch, unlock, warp, rescue, restore... I'd rather try using Dozla or Syrene instead of poor substitutes in the remaining magicians (Ewan is an Est archetype, even if we raise him to Level 1 first. And Knoll is either a Summoner or a bad Druid)

Oh, I see hnd03 has already started. I guess I could too. What difficulty?
Only the sun has stopped.Normal.
This is actually a lot tougher than I expected.

So. Let's all pause for a moment to smell what the Rock was, is, and forever will be... cooking.—Cave JohnsonRight then, my first Draft Run is a go!
I sure said that!Wait a sec, no one wants Ewan and Knoll?
Also this doesn't work out evenly either way.
Wait nevermind, I can't count.

Only the sun has stopped.Pulse and Barrylocke still each have a pick I think. They have 5 and we have 6.
Well I guess they can start now since neither Ewan nor Knoll will be available until Chapter 12 and 15, respectively, anyway.

I sure said that!I'm already at the route split. Maybe I should give it a rest for tonight.
So. Let's all pause for a moment to smell what the Rock was, is, and forever will be... cooking.—Cave JohnsonAnd I've updated the front page with the same list for reference. I'll probably start tonight or tomorrow.
Taking a break from FE1, for the FE8 draft insteadOh, right! My sig has the link for my liveblog of this run, too!
I sure said that! Objectives I like: Seize throne, kill boss
Objectives I hate: Kill all enemies

Innes was seriously going to be my next pick. But I knew he wouldn't make it after hnd almost took him.
Going with Saleh, then, because Eirika probably needs help at the top of the desert map (whereas Ephraim in her route has the superior and effective-against-Paladin-swarms Reginleif and can hopefully tear through most of the bottom on his own).
Only the sun has stopped.
