In line with the general forum rules, 'gravedancing' is prohibited here. If you're celebrating someone's death or hoping that they die, your post will get thumped. This rule applies regardless of what the person you're discussing has said or done.

Re: Johnson remaining House Speaker-
The Rule to oust him is still in place, and the Freedom nutjobs can bring that up as many times as they want until they 1) get what they want 2) or kick him out. The implied threat is they will bring the House Business to a screeching halt until everybody else does what they want.
That's why the Dems decided to not save Mc Carthy, they knew Gantz would keep bringing up the vote to kick him until it happened. It was a No-Win Situation for them.

Just for clarification, does stating that someone should have been prosecuted for their crimes while they were alive count as celebrating?
