...bleh. I don't even like HTHT anymore. I continue it (er, sort of?) out of duty. I hope I can finish it soon and then not have to think about it again.
Go finish HTHT soon, my poor noggin can't wait for what is going to happen next, specially if there is possible aversion of Infant Imortality again :(
"Here to welcome our new golden-eyed overlords," said Addy promptly.:( Why you make me so sad?! Great chapter.
Alicorn feeds on our tears
"Here to welcome our new golden-eyed overlords," said Addy promptly. They are deeeeee-lish.
Alicorn, hope you don't mind me asking: what's your own opinion on the mind bonding thing? If it were possible would you want it for yourself, and would you approve/disapprove/neither about a friend of yours doing it?
To fully explicate my stance on the matter would be a non-trivial spoiler for something that will happen in Keo's book, sorry.
How many books do you have planned??

...is what I have *written in the prior incarnation already*. This is *condensed*. This is with a lot of cruft removed. I'm actually not sure if I can sustain interest in the project this long - in particular, I suspect that everyone but me will be really bored by the Linnipese intrigue arcs, in which case I'll pare that mess down to Nobility and a few shortened versions of the funnest other Linnipese intrigue bits. And if I'm still going strong after writing everything on this list, I'll just have to make up something to put next, won't I? :)
I do plan to do other projects concurrently; people who hate Elcenia won't be left by the wayside.

A feral slash snuck into the link on the main page.
I was simultaneously intimidated and excited by that list. The end'll be a long time coming.
All Cretans are liars.—Epimenides the CretanIt's worth noting that only a handful of those stories are *about* Rhysel, and maybe half of them have her show up as a noticeably significant secondary. Most of the protagonists can be traced to her in some way, but I mean traced as in there is a book about her sister's co-worker's sister's love life and dabblings in empire-building.
Lone Starr: What's that make us?
Dark Helmet: Absolutely nothing!
Also, plenty take place concurrently (Blood begins during Summons and ends after; Silver starts exactly where Summons ends).

What Sammi said =O
Also, latest chapter: good to see the baby survive, not so good to see that the shrens still can't have their problems solved =|
"Here to welcome our new golden-eyed overlords," said Addy promptly.I really feel bad for the shrens. Their lives seem very not fun.
Also, all the shren characters seem to be not in contact with their families. Do dragons only rarely pick up the shrens, or do we have a skewed sample? Does having a shren baby somehow dishonor the family as a whole? (Please don't spoil me, though.)
As a side note, I find the dragonets' dialogue quite charming.
All Cretans are liars.—Epimenides the CretanI think I said somewhere that about half of the baby shrens get picked up when they learn to shapeshift. The ones who aren't grow up at the house; some leave to do other things when they're adults, some continue to live at the house forever and work there. Very, *very* rarely, a dragon couple who lives or is willing to move to a sufficiently rural area will raise a shren at home and it'll never see the inside of a shren house, but this can only be accomplished if they want to advertise to every dragon in the world where they live and that they have a shren so they can be shunned to the requisite degree.
Do the Dragon parents visit those babies?
"Here to welcome our new golden-eyed overlords," said Addy promptly.Generally not.

Have I mentioned that your tears are delicious?
Yes, 14 posts ago.
All Cretans are liars.—Epimenides the CretanAlso in the Luminosity thread, I believe, though it'd be a pain to find.

HTHT homepage, HTHT first page, HTHT description. I suggest it, personally, both because I like how the characters are shown and find the plot interesting, and because the change from graphic novel-format to text only-format worked quite well—honestly, without knowledge of the vote, I probably would have guessed it was planned.
*ahem* Sorry. </off-topic format fangirling>
