And the demographics are completely THE SAME as we keep telling you. They are IDENTICAL. This is not a splitting argument. It is something they have IN COMMON.
I'm not sure where you got this idea that they're different, but they're not. Western works aimed at lesbians are as rare as Eastern ones are.

Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickPlease count me as a complete neutral in this debate, but I would like to point out that Web Comics is a category where there are a fairly large number of western works written by, about, and (primarily) for lesbians.
Speaking words of fandom: let it squee, let it squee. Those are also the most likely Western works to be inspired by Japanese works and self-describe themselves as yuri.

and that's how Equestria was made!x4 They are already on the page.
Anyway after what went on in the Wiki Talk thread.... Just keep them apart. Really this whole thing has gotten stupid.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Not true of the examples I'm familiar with, but that may be because I'm not a big fan of western faux manga*. I suspect the correlation is coincidental—many webcomic artists are also manga fans, so a large percentage of any flavor of webcomic will be manga-like and may even refer to itself with a manga-associated genre name. But as I said before, I'm neutral in this debate.
* nothing against it; I'm just not a big fan.

Speaking words of fandom: let it squee, let it squee. But the only lines you've explained, I've shown counter-examples where that line was crossed.
and that's how Equestria was made!As I've said before, indie media, and webcomics are indie media, are the only real place there are Western works that are aimed at lesbians. They aren't really part of the larger genre though so much as a few random side projects that don't fit with the rest.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickWhile we are on that discussion, are we allowed to explain what 'yuri' mean now? I mean, we usually do explain the reason of the title in at last one of the last paragraphs.
Such explanation existed before, but it was lost in one of the rewrite of the pages. I vivid remember Fast Eddie allowing it to stay, if buried in a hottip. But even the reason for being in a hottip (not much relevance) is lost now, as 'yuri' is not the main title (unlike girls love, as before)
I don't see why not. I'll change it in a couple of days provided there's no objections.
and that's how Equestria was made!I added a sentence regarding it. Should we need to add anything else regarding the definition?
and that's how Equestria was made!
You still have to come up with hard line that separates Japanese lesbian works from non-Japanase works in terms of content and theme especially since even in Japan, the audience for Yuri as a whole is not that well defined in terms of demographics.
and that's how Equestria was made!
